Onsen is available 24/7 -3 private and two large baths. All different theme at each bath. Spacious room with large openable veranda doors. Green tea with cute tea set at room were very welcoming. Near the ocean and many fresh seafood restaurants toward Ito station. Buffet western style breakfast was ok. I wished they serve Miso soup, instead of consommé.... More

Thank you very much for your use. I'm sorry not to be able to use a LAN in your room. The construction which can be used the near future is being planned. Please wait a moment, excuse me. We're hoping to meet you again. Thank you very much . More

Wonderful hospitality from all staff, comfortable and spacious rooms, easily accessible onsen with private and public indoor/outdoor baths, walking distance to the beach and downtown, pleasant breakfast - great stay! Arigato to everybody at Daitokan from my son and me for enjoyable three days at Ito. We hope to come again and we will stay at Daitokan again.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 night during our trip to Japan. It is a wonderful little hotel that has 3 private Onsen and 2 public baths which are all open 24/7. Great hotel for someone who wants to experience a traditional hotel. Rooms are very large and very clean. Also, v. importantly they have actual non-smoking rooms while many... More

I've stayed in a lot of ryokans throughout Japan and this would have to be the best in terms of value for money. It's not difficult to find places to eat nearby, although Ito is not Tokyo and most restaurants close by 9. Great baths too - outside rotenburo was gorgeous.

We just came back from a Sunday/Monday at Daitokan, which was our second time. As usual, the place was super-clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful, the rooms were a little retro and spacious, with a nice HDTV that I hooked up to my computer with my HDMI cable that I always carry with it. The best part for... More

This is our favorite hot spring place that we can stay at Japanese style hotel. Here, they don't serve dinner that typical Japanese style hot spring hotels usually do. In that way, they make their prices low and we can enjoy food outside. The hotel is not very far from train station which is called Ito station. There are many... More

Do not expect the best onsen and service, but consider the money you pay, this is an absolutely recommendable hotel. Little difficult to find at first. The room we got has a separate living room and tatami.

I was absolutely amazed when I arrived at this little Ryoukan in Ito City. I must admit I wasn't excited to be there when my wife told me all about it. I have never stayed at a Ryoukan that didn't have a dinner course attached to it...and for 4,000 yen per person I knew I would not be impressed. I... More
