The hotel is connected to the train station by sheltered link way. Auto key-in wake up call is very user friendly and convenient. Many shops and eateries within walking distance. The room is clean and the bathroom is spacious. Good view of the station front. Front desk reception is polite and efficient. Staff speaks English well.

I stayed for a week at Chisun in a double room. The room is big considering it's Japan and it was no problem having two suitcases open at the same time. The breakfast buffet is a good deal with lots of choices if you like japanese breakfast. Lots of restaurants and cafes in the vicinity, both inside and outside Niigata... More

The Chisun a Hotel is attached to the JR East terminal. Shinkansen and regular trains connect just down the second floor of the hotel. The rooms are clean and nice, but there is no extra space. I had some difficulty fitting a large bag in the room without tripping over it.

I spent one night in this hotel on my way to Sadogashima. The Chisun is a very comfortable hotel in an excellent location for train, bus or ferry access. The facilities were excellent and as a traveler I'm always grateful for access to a coin laundry.

We booked this hotel via Agoda, that was the only mistake we made!.We booked a single room in error. Agoda would or could not fix it despite numerous calls. In the end we emailed the hotel directly and they change us to a double with no problems. When we checked in was were offered an upgrade to a large room... More

I've stayed here twice, In sept 2013 and for the first time, in 2011. I generally like the Chisun brand of hotels and have stayed at several around Japan, they are clean and cheap business hotels. Nice enough for the price but not too fancy. Like most Chisun hotels this one is an older building but the rooms are remodelled... More

We stayed at the Chisun Hotel for 3 nights in May of 2013. We were visiting my niece, who was living and working in Niigata. Pros Very close (attached) to the train station. Room was very clean and comfortable. Really nice toiletries provided. Staff were professional if not all that friendly. Cons Difficult to find from the attached train station.... More

This was a surprisingly good hotel for the price. Our room was well furnished to maximise the space. We booked a superior twin room and were on a high floor with a pleasant view over part of the city with mountains in the distance. The location was excellent for local and long distance transport and the room rate represented good... More
