Stayed here during our trip to Japan from the Scotland. By far the best service we have ever recieved staying anywhere. Lovely food and to top it off in a perfect location for walks and exploring. Loved this place! Wish we lived closer to return again :)

This is a wonderful pension only a few minute drive from the Norikura ski resort. The pension is peaceful and warm, even in winter. Rie and Ryoichi are wonderful hosts - the food is delicious (Rie's homemade baked goods are a highlight) and Rie speaks fluent english. They have run the pension for near thirty years and are incredibly knowledgeable... More

This is one of the best pensions Ive been to during my 1.5 years in Japan. I've been to this pension 3 times now, and still cant get enough.
