The rooms are pretty small like many hotel in Japan. The hotel is very clean, the service is great and unfortuntely i was a bit sick and didnt wake up for beakfest so i dont know how it was :). I enjoyed the hotel and i'll come back in my next visit to Matsumoto.

The place is about 5-7 mins walk from the train station along main road perpendicular to the station at the castle exit. The room was spacious and clean. Clean, budget, does the job. Easy to find from the station and located right next to a shopping mall and the restaurant streets. The only hotel that offered free breakfast in our 10 days in Japan. Although it was simple and basic but it was delicious and adequate - rice balls, miso soup, apple juice, buckwheat tea.

Very regimented feel to this hotel. Small rooms typical for Japan. Furnishings and fitout abit dated but hey the price is pretty good. We pre-booked 2 x semi-double rooms for 2 adults and 2 kids.
