This is a decent hotel located close to the castle, which was our prime reason for visiting Matsumoto. There are plenty of restaurants close by as well as the restored Castletown streets. Check-in was efficient although the staff have limited English. There is no lounge or bar and the restaurant was closed on the first night due to a wedding... More

This hotel is fantastic, the rooms were by far the largest I had during my time in Japan, reasonably close to the city centre/train station and very close to the amazing castle. When I arrived the lady at reception even fretted about something and came to my room 5 minutes after to deliver the XXL pyjamas & slippers that seem... More

Best location in Matsumoto in my opinion. 2 minute walk from castle, 15 min with bags from train station. Weren't back to the castle in the evening to see it lit up. Had the camera out about to click and they turned the lights out! It was bang on ten so go before that time... Hotel was clean and perfect... More

This is a new-ish hotel and is in a great spot for a short visit to Matsumoto. The castle is right behind this hotel, and it's an easy 10-15 minute walk to the station. This reminded me of an Ibis hotel, very simple and modern with small-ish rooms but enough space for a short stay. The PJs they give you... More

Loved this hotel. It is a boutique hotel and 7 of us stayed here. Breakfast was included and breakfast was quite a spread. Very nice place to stay -- clean, modern, accommodating. Darling hotel -- centrally located.

地方の小都市のホテルとしてかなりいいと思います 元々は都市の大手企業が展開していたせいか部屋の調度の感じがよく落ち着いています 階層によっては外の景色はよくありませんが、室内はよくできています ベッドもいいです I think it's quite good as a hotel in a local small city. Feeling of furniture in the room often calms down .The bed is also good

You will need to take a taxi from the train station to the hotel. But the hotel is located very close to Matsumoto Castle, the best and oldest soba restaurant in town and Nawata Shopping District. For the price of $179, it also include a wonderful Japanese and English buffet breakfast that have everything. This is a new modern hotel... More

We stayed for one night in May. We stayed in a standard room which was quite small but the bed was very comfortable and room very clean. Check in isn't until 3 but we left our bags and the staff took our bags to the room while we were out sightseeing. We walked from the train station, took 15 minutes... More

This is a relatively new business hotel, with very comfortable, quiet, well-furnished rooms of adequate, but not spacious size. Excellent location and terrific value. Buffet breakfast was adequate, though not sumptuous. Friendly staff, but with limited English and no concierge -- however, given how small and easily navigated Matsumoto is, this was not a significant problem.

Literally 1 block from the Matsumoto castle and a short walk to train station. If you drive, make sure you reserve the hotel parking space when you book (¥1,000 per day). There are a few bicycles that you can borrow for free. We rode to the city art museum, which has Yayoi Kusama's permanent exhibition :) The hotel itself is... More
