It is nearer to the station than expected. Simply go to East Exit of Matsumoto stn (escalators available), walk down the road that is the furthest left until you reach the river. (u will pass by super hotel). Front desk starts from 7 (630 is also fine as they would b there) Extremely friendly staff and they helped me to... More

One of the best hotel that we have stayed during our Japan trip. This hotel offers an affordable price with Ryokan style. The room also spacious with four of us, and there is plenty of room for another desk and big wardrobe here and there. Stayed here for 2 nights and I have a good rest after our trip. Matsumoto... Great location, halfway between the train station and Matsumoto castle. Nawate street (charming little shopping street) is also located less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel. It cost me a little over 5,000 yen per night, basic all-you-can-eat Japanese style breakfast included. Staff were friendly and spoke some English. If you are using your hotel as a base to... More

Pocket friendly hotel especially when you booked the room early. Cost me around 7000jpy for 2person per night. Slept in twin room with wife and 1 year old baby. The baby shared our bed. The 2nd bed was big enough for my wife and the baby. Free breakfast - japanese style Easily located. If unsure can check with the tourist... More

This hotel is situated near to the Matsumoto Castle. Very convenient and 5 minutes walk to the train station. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room are comfortable. However the management need to do carpet once in a while. The carpethas a lot of black stains. I would give this hotel 7 points out of 10.

Great location from the train station and proximity to castle and other attractions. Staff speak okay English and you can get by. Breakfast is sparse but it is free so no complaints. Bed is so hard that I have a bruise on my hip from sleeping so be aware the beds are rock hard. Comparable to sleeping on the floor... More

For japanese standards big rooms and unbeatable price ( for two persons compared with a hostel). The rooms are also very clean and on the 7th floor we had a nice view. Castle and JR station easy within 10 min of walking distance ( with a backpack). If you take a late train they store your bags for free.

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting Matsumoto. Very close to the train station (5 min walk) and not too far from the castle (15 min walk). We were lucky to be there during cherry blossom season an the whole street was lined with flowers - it was very beautiful. Plenty of food options nearby and a convenience store... More

This hotel is convenient to the train station and not too far from the castle. It is an easy walk to several restaurants. The hotel has several bikes for free use which makes getting around town very handy. We arrived early and the staff gladly took our luggage and later placed in our room before we checked in.

Location decent, about 5 mins walk from train station and 10 mins from castle, plenty of restaurants nearby. Room ok, clean and tidy, but a bit cramped as a twin. The bathroom felt like an added in room with a raised floor and was probably the smallest of all hotels we stayed at, but functional still. View was ok but... More
