This hotel is outdated, but the staff was fantastic and it's a two-minute walk from the station. The hotel was spotless. There are laundry facilities on the 4th floor if you need them. My only complaint is that the windows don't open.

For the price, I would stay here again if traveling by myself. I paid only $62 Canadian for a room over a long weekend. While the rooms and corridors are in serious need of some redecorating, this hotel is clean and in a great location. The staff was also very friendly. My only complaint is that the windows don't open.... More

This hotel is perfect as a base around the alps. It sits 2 min walking distance from the station and city center. Our room was on the smoking floor and smelled a little the first day. By the 3rd day, you could hardly smell anymore the cigarettes. Good job cleaning ladies! They offer a nice Yukata to sleep in. Service... More

Just at 2 minutes walk distance from the train station it is very convenient for a short staing in Matsumoto. Service is good and at the 4th floor there are also washing and drying machines. I enjoyed the onsen on the 7th floor. One bad point was that my room was in fornt of the railway so I heard all... More

Japanese hotel, especially those with three stars or less are usually small and crampy. So I will not comment on that . Otherwise in terms of service and location, this is a great little hotel. I enjoyed my stay with another eight members of my family. Near to train station, a few convenience stores nearby. Room is clean. The room... More

Although the sento on the seventh floor was a nice touch, it couldn't make up for the age of the mattress. There were other accommodations in Matsumoto at the same price point that we wish we had chosen. On a positive note, the beer in the well-stocked vending machines was reasonably priced.

Yes the rooms are small and a little bit dated but we expected this from reading previous reviews, there were 3 in our party so we booked two rooms next to each other on non smoking floor. The rooms were clean, comfy beds with many little extras included. We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed our stay in this hotel... More

The hotel was great, you are in a small town in Japan, this hotel has traditional breakfast every morning, on the top floor is a japanese tradition bathroom... yeah. Hot-Tubs and saunas. The rooms are small but come on, it reminded me a lot of the hotels in Europe, same thing, small rooms. Not to mention you are basically in... More

Came here because we had been drinking near the station, and didn't want to drive to a love hotel. NEVER AGAIN! Just get a taxi to LaForet near Shiojiri Kita interchange. It's a love hotel, but huge rooms, very clean, great value and a great cultural experience for any who've never been! This place was a total waste of money...... More

We stayed here for two nights. Was three mins walk form the JR Station (out the front turn left and you can't miss it). Room not ready on arrival, but did not take long. Helpful staff who did there best with English. Room was well equipped with all the usual, view over railway. We had the breakfast at 800yen per... More
