We recently stayed at the Onsen Hotel in Kamikochi. It is a very lovely property and the staffs are also very helpful and polite. We had a river facing Japanese style room and it was fabulous. We just spent 3 nights at the Onsen Hotel, and had a brilliant time. We took the corner room which mainly faces the river. Our rooms were super, with a lovely view of the river and mountains, though the 6am hikers gathering under our window were a bit noisy!
