This hotel is located opposite the train station, and ideal for exploring the area from. I had a modern, well kept room, with all the essential facilities. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and very attentive. The breakfast was very good, but manic as so many tour groups, so possibly a small wait. They had buffet in the... More

They try very hard to promote their city in Kanazawa and it is a worthwhile tourist destination for the gardens and the historic districts. The Nikko newly renovated floors was a real delight, with large rooms (about 33 sq mtrs), quality fittings and sumptuous views over the city to the snow covered mountains from our 28 floor room. Conveniently located... More

So I read all the reviews and checked out pictures of the Nikko before I booked the room. I now understand why some people feel it is an old a tired hotel and other think it is a 4 star. The hotel has certain rooms that have been renovated and if you do not book one of those rooms you... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights here a couple of weeks ago. Very nice accommodations, bathroom was roomy for Japan. The hotel staff was very helpful in finding restaurants that where really memorable and last minute shopping. Plus the train station is right across the street, so, it was not hard to make an early morning train in the... More

Had a lovely stay here as it was quite spacious and the rooms had most amenities that you could want. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay more. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the buffet breakfast was varied and delicious.

Located just next to the JR Kanazawa eki, it's easy to get there by train, or even with car. (The hotel provides free parking). This hotel is in a complex skyscraper with good views from the rooms. Buffet breakfast and traditional Japanese style breakfast are both delicious and you can choose either one for your stay. (If you stay here... More

My friends in Tokyo suggested this hotel and I was really happy with it. It is located right across form the train station. The room was quite big and the interior 70ies style. The hotel has several restaurants. I tried the Teppanyaki one and enjoyed a delicious dinner. The hotel is part of a small shopping mall that also has... More

We stayed in Nikko Hotel Kazazawa in November 2013. The hotel is right next to the railway and bus station which makes it very convenient for going to Shirakawa-go (most people come to Kanazawa to visit Shirakawa-go).THe lobby is very nicely decorated. The rooms are very spacious and it made a huge difference comparing to Tokyo. The beds are wide... More

My daughter and I stayed in a "modern twin" room for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The room was quite large, with extremely comfortable beds. There was a separate closet area, big enough for our 2 suitcases, as well as hanging spaces and multiple drawers. We also had a small table and chairs by the window,... More

We stayed for one night and went for the luxe suite. It was a lovely modern room with the most comfortable bed we had our whole 3+ weeks in Japan (most beds were ridiculously hard). The room was fairly compact, as can be expected in Japan. There were great amenities and a really nice modern bathroom, with a separate dry... More
