Spent one night at this hotel before moving to Yamashiro hot springs the next day. We have used a free stay coupon that was provided by the credit card company as one of the benefits being a platinum member. The check-in was very smooth. We were greeted by a young staff with smile. Best of all, we were offered an... More

Beautiful high-rise hotel with nice view on the entrance of the JR station. Everything was as it should be in a 4* hotel. Friendly staff, clean (and spacious) rooms, comfy beds etc. The lobby is connected to a shopping mall that is connected to the JR station. We stayed on a friday and had a very good deal. On saturday... More

The hotel is directly across the road from the station, extremely convenient for arrival/departure and site seeing. The site seeing loop buses go from the bus terminal outside the station, all day pass Y500 they take you to all areas you may wish to explore. We had 2 nights in "Stylish floor" rooms. I had booked 2 rooms and without... More

We only had 1night in Kanazawa - I wish we had, had more time. The Hotel is great, very nice, clean and size of room was OK. We had a very high floor overlooking the station - beautiful. The station is only 200/300M away. We didn't eat in the hotel at all so can't comment on that but Free WiFi... More

Nikko hotel is something between 3-4-5 stars hotel. Room is a bit small and don´t have in room safe, what I didn´t like. Also, no gym. But hotel is huge, they have differents and high-quality restaurants. Location is excellent, one block from train station and close to markets and restaurants. The best fot this hotel was breakfast: Huge , with... More

we did not expect such high quality in every aspects. First of all we were generousely up graded to a "magnifique" huge room on the 26th floor enjoying a panoramic view of the city and a romantic Jpanese sunset. The amenities were from "l'Occitane", the Nespresso coffee machine with plenty of capsules contributed to our comfort . The kingsizebed was... More

Convenient location, 200m from the station. Kanazawa is a small town so it is easy to get around. Very impressive and opulent lobby area. Front desk staff spoke pitch perfect English, almost shockingly so. They were also very efficient - checking in a group of 9 people took only minutes. The hotel felt very business friendly. Rooms were large and... More

This hotel is very clean, the rooms are spatious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet on the second floor was fantastic. I really enjoyed the Japanese food early in the morning. The staff was extremely friendly. I got my shirts pressed. They just looked like bought new with the original packaging.

We arrived a little early. No problem to check in and would we like a larger room?!! What a change from some other hotels. Wonderful public spaces but with the odour of tobacco. Room was spacious, aircon very weak but they managed to get it a bit cooler the second day. Well furnished and appointed. Breakfast looked very grand but... More

The Nikko is well located across the street from the main station. As you come out of the station, the hotel is the tallest. The foyer was amazing. I had some communication problem with the staff at the reception because of their poor english, but in the end I sorted everything. The room was relatively small but with a great... More
