Picked this hotel out randomly and ended up loving it more than any high end place i've stayed. The double room was very economical, and very Kanazawa in that it definitely has an old school flavor - which is a nice break from Tokyo's perpetual cutting edge. From the tiny, amazing room to the included-in-the-hotel-price breakfast (specializing in onigiri!) i was endlessly charmed by this place. The free, in-room wireless was also great. Another plus was that Hotel Econo was within walking distance to all great nightlife as well as many of the touristy sites, though we did take a cab to and from the train station. I would definitely recommend this place to my best friend :) more
