We stayed in the Dormy Inn in Kanazawa for a week when my husband had a work related conference in Kanazawa. The room was small but comfortable. It is not a luxury hotel but the service at the desk and thoughout the week in very good. The breakfast was a mix of Japanese and Western breakfasts, which gave us choices... More

The room was quite comfortable and decent sized, by Japanese standards. The breakfast buffet was excellent, definitely worth the price. One of the best features is the location, which is about a block from the train station. (don't make the mistake of trusting your gps and getting a taxi to the hotel like we did...how embarrassing!) The staff speaks limited... More

Great location, a couple of minutes from the Train Station which was important for me as I arrived just after midnight. Reception, as advertised, was open when I arrived. The room was very clean, yes it was a bit small but I didnt need anything bigger. Great to have a desk and a free wired internet connection. The onsen (spa)... More

A little away from key spots is the main drawback. Spacious and quietish with a good onsen. We got a good price booking from the UK. No meals as such, but "free" late ramen for guests - a nice touch. Handy for station.

Made and paid for A reservation many months in advance requesting a room in a quiet location. First room assigned was right next to the elevators on the 6th floor Second room assigned, after I requested a change, was on the 2nd floor with no view. Asked for room on an upper floor and was told nothing was available.

We stayed from 22/4 to 24/4. When we first arrived at the station, we asked a Japanese security guard for direction to the hotel and was politely directed in simple English and it took us less than 4 mins to walk to the entrance considering we had 3 baggages to drag a lot. The staff we spoke to was very... More

I give this hotel 3 stars: one for the staff who were friendly although English was limited, one for the Spa and one for the free Wi-Fi. But the rooms are very small ( even the one that they upgraded me to). The hotel is not well run and the carpets and furnisher were stained and as a vacation traveller... More

Hotel is located just next to JR station and a mall so that's great. In order to get to the town's atractions you need to take a bus or walk a bit, but the bus is cheep so it's not a problem. Hotel itself is an average japanese business hotel so keep in mind that the checkin gets crowded in... More

(a) location - just next to the JR station and to the department store... we stayed there on Dec 31... so we didn't have to get up so early the other morning to get the "lucky bag"... (b) room - standard japanese businese hotel size... (c) breakfast - with a great choice... and they also provide free night snack... what... More

We stayed here as a family of 4, they accommodated us in 1 room, with a futon for the kids. Yes there was no room, the shower was tiny but it was cute, clean, friendly and extremely well located. There's a washing machine / dryer room upstairs for low cost and breakfast is very tasty and plentiful. Within 5 min... More
