Stay at this hotel on 13th Dec 2014 for 2 night . In terms of size of room in Japan , this is the biggest we ever stay . Locate up at hill with 10 min from station . Free shuttle from Station to hotel every 30min hourly mean 10:30 ,11: 30 and so on the breakfast is good -... More

This hotel was superb in almost every way. The price was reasonable, the room was enormous by Japanese standards, and the food was delicious. Everyone on staff was eager to please. We preferred the café restaurant on the 6th floor, but the food was good everywhere. The shuttle was reliable (although the schedule has a few irregularities that need you... More

A friend recommended this hotel and am grateful. The hotel location was a ten minute ride from town center but that was not an issue because of the free shuttle service provided by the hotel. The hotel itself is very nice with a friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are very spacious and well kept. You can't say enough about the... More

Was not sure what to expect. The hotel is up on a hill overlooking some fields. The shuttle from the train station runs once an hour and takes about 10 minutes. The hotel is large, but we were given a great room and never felt crowded at the meals or elsewhere in the hotel. Room was large. It had ashtrays... More

The location of the Hotel is a bit far out of town BUT the shuttle service runs so frequently it did not concern us. The location of the hotel ensured that it would be quiet. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. There was a good selection for breakfast. The staff were helpful and spoke English. I... More

The staff was very helpful and courteous at every turn. Most of them spoke English and would take every opportunity to make one feel at home. If you have never been to a japanese spa then you have missed an experience. The Associa's is on the 6th floor which allowed one a view of the stars as well as Takayama... More

We're a mid 50s well travelled Australian couple who travelled to Takayama as part of our first trip to Japan and we booked this hotel online a few months beforehand. Accommodation options in the area were limited due to the annual autumn festival running over that weekend and communication over email beforehand was stilted. The hotel is situated on a... More

The rooms are humongous by most standards and very comfortable. The staff are efficient with checking you in and out nicely but nothing more than that really. Good views and seems to be a popular place for group tours and some noisy ones too ! Location is quiet and a long walk into town with nothing much in between so... More

We spent two nights here and loved it. Whilst located a bit out of town they provide a shuttle bus to and from the Takayama station but if you are catching a train make sure you get on first as a tour group grabbed most of the seats on one of our trips. We booked a double room which had... More

This out of town resorthotel with a shuttle bus to JR station Takayama focuses on Asian guests (Chinese groups). The rooms are spacious and clean. No roomservice. The view is awesome, the Japanes restaurant very good and check-in quick. The wifi: horrible.
