Nothing about this hotel stands out significantly in my opinion. It's an average, 3-star kind of hotel. The giftshop sells popular souvenirs that are sold everywhere and the restaurants serve typical buffets for breakfast. During our stay, the hotel was fully booked, so it can get kind of noisy but soundproof wasn't too bad. I do want to point out... More

We stayed here for two nights and did enjoy our stay. It is a 10 minute up-hill shuttle bus ride from Takayama Station and this is what gives the hotel such great views but it is not really a walkable distance and there are no paved paths to walk on. There is only one shuttle bus each hour so planning... More

Very good service. Good facilities. Excellent restaurant in the 6'st floor. The prices in the spa, for massage (as example) are too high! Shuttle to town center very good. We recommend it without hesitation! Torit and Amiad Niv Jerusalem

We stayed in this hotel on April 30 and May 1, 2015. The hotel is nicely located, but well out of town. There is a shuttle to and from the station, but only once an hour. The hotel has a nice lobby and seems to have an abundance of staff. The room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was varied and... More

We stayed here one night on our tour of Japan and have enjoyed our stay very much. Big room, great view of the mountains covered with snow, nice bathroom with various toiletries, nice breakfast. the dinner buffet was very nice too and we had an unforgettable Hida beef filet, which really was out of this world! The stuff was very... More

We stayed here for two nights in April for the Spring Festival. Unfortunately it rained so the parade was cancelled. The stalls and shops were operating however, and you could walk around town and see the floats (some of which were built in the 1700's) in their houses. The hotel room was a good size and accommodated the four of... More

We stayed here 2 nights during a visit to Takayama. The rooms are good sized and the staff was generally very friendly. The room smelled a little like smoke, which was disappointing. But visiting the hotel's onsen (hot spring baths) was kind of fun. The hotel is located on the side of a mountain, thus providing superb views of the... More

I loved everything about this hotel that stands majestically on a hillside. A large room with a view over the valley, in which the town is nestled, to snow covered mountains beyond. Every member of staff at this hotel is geared up for the best possible service they can offer. Every staff member I passed greeted me and all were... More

This is a large hotel on the hill overlooking the city with views of the mountains. Lots of tour groups stay there. We were there at Spring Festival time. Unfortunately it was completely rained out and therefore cancelled. The room was large with a good bathroom. We ate at their Japanese restaurant twice, good food! I did not use the... More

Super hotel with spacious , well equipped rooms. It was a comfortable and warm stay as when we arrived the weather was extremely cold for April but after more snow at night, it began to thaw. The hotel is situated just outside Takayama but the shuttle bus runs every hour and links with the train station. A taxi ride from town... More
