Very nice stay. Staff was helpful and can speak good English. Its only like 10 mins away from the tourists area by foot. A relaxing and clean public onsen on the top floor, male and female separately. There are 2 parking lots, 1 is onsite and the other is a 2 min walk. Have to pay for the parking but... More

Decent sized room and bathroom by Japan standards. The best thing about this hotel is it's just 4-5 blocks and 4-5min walk from the train station, meaning it's between both the main town center (and Old Town) and the train station, making it a good base if you are staying for a few days in Takayama, easily reaching attractions on... A new-ish modren Japanese type business hotel that provided good service and amenities during our stay. Room space was comfortable although bathroom was smaller than we would have liked (but seriously this is Japan where all rooms seem to be small anyway). Hotel staff are friendly and always helpful. Good location to all attractions and near to train station. Very... More

Great onsen hotel at Takayama, with 4 different "types" of onsen, 2 indoors and 2 outdoors. the onsen was well maintained and very clean. The rooms are spacious, with a large double bed and enough room to move around. Staff can speak reasonable English. Very good wifi speed in public area and in the guestrooms. Only downside was the rather... More

Functional hotel an easy walk from Takayama station and conveniently located for you to continue your walk on into the historic areas of the town. The staff had enough knowledge of english to assist us at check-in and with a couple of questions we had subsequently. The room and bathroom were adequate if average, but up to normal Japanese standards.... More

The best thing this hotel has going for it, is that it's about halfway between the train station and the historic area of Takayama. It is about a 5-10 min walk from the station. The second best thing is the spa/bath house on the roof. Other than that, it is an average business hotel with some below average features. Some... More

I think the prior reviews were very generous. The room is spare , not spacious and I am having a hard time reconciling with the hotels pictures. The bed is not comfortable. Staff and location are good but this is not the only game in town.

The hotel feels new and has modern spa bath facilities. The breakfast was average but sufficient. The only issue is that the normal rooms were really too small to feel good for two persons. The rooms lack nothing so that was the good thing.

Stayed here for a night while driving through. Rooms were quite spacious and modern. The hotel was quite new and beds were wuite comfortable. The hotel has smoking/non-smoking floors so the lobby especially smelt but the non-smoking floors were fine. The blinds were quite terrible and we found we were woken up at 5am because they didn't keep the light... More

I visited Takayama twice and both were in winter times. And during both visit, I picked to stay at this hotel because they have natural hot spring on the top floor. It was really cold in Takayama during winter time, so the hot spring really do warm me up. Room was spacious and we can open both of our suitcase... More
