This hotel was opened only a few years, so everything still looks new. Decor is on the simple side. Rooms are spacious compared to Japanese standard. Hot springs (both inddor and open air) are nice in winter. The hotel is also centrally located, with 5 mins from Takayama JR and Nohi bus station, and with 20 mins walk to most... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to find from the train station. The room was large enough to be comfortable for us and our 11 month old baby and had a nice view of the snowy mountains. The bathroom was adequate but I much preferred to use... More

Took 5 hours (by express bus then changed to local bus) from Toyama to Takayama because there was no train service due to snow storm the previous day. Book 2 nights at this hotel and two members of our travel group (total 6 persons) wanted to cancel their room for the second night as they needed to fly back home... More

Just 8 minutes from the station. Cross the street as you exit the station. Turn right and turn left at the 1st intersection just 2 minutes away. After turning left, the hotel is just another 6 minutes walk up the street. The hotel is between 10 to 15 minutes walking radius of most tourist spots. The staff were most friendly... More

This hotel is very conveniently located near to the Nohi bus terminal and the train station. There are a lot of restaurants and shops just around the hotel. Hotel room was spacious given the fact that Japan hotels had small room. Clean and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Stayed here for 1 night and they had public onsen... More

This is my first hotel in this trip. We drove over 3 hours from Chubu Airport to Takayama, it's very tired for us. However, there are 2 public hot springs / baths (2 for men and 2 for women) at the top floor of the hotel, we can take a relax shower and bath after the tired driving. Our rented... More

We stayed one night at this no frill inn. Room is small but the onsen provides perfect relax we need and the location is good, only three blocks away from the train station. Many good restaurants nearby to choose. Highly recommended for budget short stay

The hotel is close to the Takayama JR or bus station (around 5 minutes walk). Also, it is about five blocks from the historic section of Takayama. The room is small but comfortable, especially the bed. We didn't use the small bathroom as we enjoy the rooftop onsen!
