The ryokan is located in a beautiful and quiet small village called Fukuchi Kamitakara-Mura deep inside the Japanese Alps (1 hour far from Tayakama by car). Free parking spots. We went there for a bit of rest during our journey through Japan, and it was a good decision. temperatures were just fine while Japan was sweating hard... The local hot spring is feeding the own onsen of the Ryokan, fitted with 2 public baths (gents and ladies), and 3 family private baths. As we were during weektime, the place... More

The private onsen were always open; there is a nice view from private onsen #2. Dinner was served in our room. It was about 20 different dishes. The owners were very forthcoming and even drove us to the bus stop at 8 am.
