I only stayed there for 2 days 1 night this... More

Hotel was traditional Japanese style where you could feel the way of Japanese's life. You also could enjoy and relax at their outdoor onsen with stunning scenery. Hotel staff was very polite and helpful. Room and bathroom was standard.

A large open air mixed onsen is the highlight of this hotel. The open air mixed onsen is down the slope from the hotel near a river. It's got fantastic views of the snowy mountains. The hotel provides a short cable car ride for guests' access to this onsen (a very special experience). We stayed in Japanese rooms which are... More

This is the best hotel of my Japan Chubu Trip in Nov 2014. It's unforgettable! I've booked this hotel thur Japanese's online agent, price incl. dinner and breakfast. 2 hotel staffs served us when we arrived the front door and they help us to park our car in their private carpark. As we have a booking, they all knew our... More

As I arrived here in the evening, the first thing after putting the suitcase in the room is eating. I went to the dining room for Keiseki which is a multiple-course Japanese food in traditional style. The food is great. Sashimi is fresh. The breakfast was also nice. After that, I went to Onsen. After walking from the main building... More

If you love to have hot spring in outdoor especially during the winter time, you must visit their outdoor onsen - the larger one as I haven't seem before. However, the rooms are too old and do not expect any restaurant will be opened during midnight and just can buy the snack from vending machine if you hungry before go... More

Air Bath(Roten-buro)No.1in arounnd here,or Tyubu-state.But rooms are too OLD,Dinner not excelent,staff are veryvery kindful.I hope supend the money for Hard-Side!

You cannot fault with the food and the staff. They both exceed our expectations. Every dish served is an edible art piece. The staff are afraid that they don't help you enough. The spa is open 24 hours. They even have a free shuttle service in the morning to take hotel guest to the Shinotaka ropeway.

I found this ryokan from some reviews through the web at the very last minute and managed to book it through booking.com. It was a choice well made as I enjoyed my stay throughly at the ryokan. The ryokan was easy to find. What struck me most was the welcome greeting when you stepped into the ryokan. Even the shoe... More
