My mother and I stayed here in April 2015. The room was small as expected but clean, with western style beds.We shared a room with a semi double and fit just fine. The staff was very nice but there was a definite language barrier, however with a little work it was okay as they were very eager to help. This hotel is... I stayed in Nagoya for about three weeks and moved around to a few similarly priced hotels. This was the best one for a few reasons. The rooms are bigger, even than the other APA hotels in Nagoya. The facilities are also newer, and the area around the hotel is quite nice. Just lively enough, but not obnoxiously so. Front... More

Hotels in Japan are small and this is no exception. However APA does have Western style soft beds that are very comfortable for sleep. The room is Japanese standard but it is clean and functional. While many of the hotels do have some 1983 design inside them this is most of the hotels in Japan and again is Japanese standard.... More

I stayed here for 6 nights, and I simply loved its wonderful location. First of all, this hotel is near the Sakae station. Just drag your luggage towards exit 8, take the escalator up to ground level. Once you reach the ground level, turn right, and you should see Citibank and Coach on your right. Cross the road to reach... More

I stayed here for one night in July 2013. We had a triple room, so there was hardly any space to move. Only one person can be in the bathroom at a time. The room needed serious updating- there was a clock-radio/ bedside table from about 1983. The room could have been cleaner, too- the grout in the tub was... More

We stayed 1 week at the APA hotel nishiki excellent. The rooms are very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is 1000¥/pers and to my opinion is worth the price. There is a choice of american type breakfast (eggs, bacon, etc), european breakfast (ham, fruits, toasts), japanese and some delicious pastries. The location is great, close to... More

The APA Hotel Nagoya-Nishiki is in a great location close to an underground station and the centre of the city. However, it is somewhat tired and the rooms rather cramped, even by Japanese standards. We had three nights there and really didn't get a decent night's sleep. We would find somewere else to stay next time.

I stayed here one night on a stopover on my way back from hiking in Kiso Valley. I just wanted a clean, budget friendly hotel that was close to a train station so I could get a good night's sleep before traveling on the next day. The room was small, but for business or short-term/solo travel purposes it was great.... More

Having stayed in more than my share of business hotels in Nagoya, this would be my pick. Great, handy location. Larger than normal rooms. Well laid out rooms. Clean, non-mouldy bathroom. Reasonable price (I got a package deal with flight for this one). The one issue I would have is that no wi-fi in room, but they do have LAN.... More
