I have stayed at this hotel more or less annually for the past 5-6 years. It's a typical Japanese business hotel with small but adequate clean and functional rooms. There is complimentary breakfast each morning. The variety covers most tastes from Japanese and Korean to Western. The lobby area was upgraded a couple years ago. Service is friendly and helpful.... I visited this most magnificent hotel for my international conf trip from Nov.12-16, 20 13. I enjoyed this hotel very much. Service is excellent, food is excellent, very tasty and too qualitative. This hotel is about 2 to 3 minute walk from railway station and about 30 min by super fast train

We've stayed in Nagoya several times and never quite found a hotel that 'worked' for us. Either too far away from the station or too much money. We booked this hotel for our group this summer and were very happy. In fact we've booked it again for this Spring! As others have said the hotel is super close to the... More

I stayed in this hotel for two nights in October. The location is OK coz it is just right next to the JR station and there are also enough choices of restaurants nearby. But if you are going to travel by subway, better choose hotel on the east side of the JR station coz it takes quite a long walk... More

Had stayed here for the night while on a business trip. The hotel is bang opposite the station and from that perspective is convenient. There are a lot of bars and restaurant options nearby with a convenient store right opposite the rear entrance. The room was small, typical business hotel style, but clean and comfortable. This hotel has WiFi unlike... More

Recently spent 4 nights here as a supervisor to 13 students. Nothing more convenient than arriving on the shinkansen and your hotel is right at the station. Great. Very convenient as far as restaurants and shops go - there is a convenience store opposite. Other things that make this a very convenient hotel are the bending machines and of course... More

Great location from the train station but our nonsmoking room smelled of smoke. The breakfast had an enormous selection of Japanese food and a good assortment of western style foods but the room was extremely hot. Lots of business people but overall needs updating.

Hello, I have spent 2 nights there recently. Location is good, 10 mins walk from the main subway station. Close to big shopping mall and lots of local restaurants around. The hotel itself is just good for sleep, nothing else. In my opinion The Associa Marriot hotel will be a better choice because it it just above the station with less... More

Hotel is nice and clean and staff is very friendly. I had a single room, so quite small, but doubles are bigger. But even if it wasn't huge, it had all the necessary amenities, even in the bathroom (comb, conditioner, body lotion, slippers, tea making facilities, etc...) Bedding was lovely. Breakfast was nice. No egg station but all the rest... More

We arrived in Nagoya in the midst of Typhoon #17 and to our joy the Meitetsu New Grand Hotel is no more than 10 meters from the up elevator from the underground shopping plaza. Got from the shinkansen to the hotel without even opening our umbrellas. We had a double twin room, small by western standards but more than adequate.... More
