Staff is very helpful. On the first day we arrived Nagoya, it rained and temperature dropped suddenly at the night. Hotel staff guided us where to find the food nearby. Toyoko Inn is famous as a business hotel. However, this hotel has quite a lot of package tour clients. They usually woke up early and become noisy at the corridor.... More

Good location. Clean and comfortable room. Free shuttle to Nagoya station. They even provide free Japanese style breakfast for all guests. These are all what you need for a budget hotel. Only one downside is the doors need repairing, because you can hear everyone shut with a boom noise on your floor.

I've stayed in 4 different locations of Toyoko Inn hotel (Nagoya and Osaka) in my last trip to these cities. The rooms were small but clean, comfortable and close to the train stations. The free breakfast was a delight :) I would definitely come back to Toyoko Inn in my next visit to Japan.

Toyoko Inns are reliably clean and comfortable, albeit "cozy" (meaning hardly room to swing a cat). This one stood out as especially clean and comfortable. The lobby area was somehow more inviting than most, the staff were friendly, the room seemed just a little roomier than usual. Best of all, the breakfast was good. (Often Toyoko Inn breakfasts are reminiscent... More

This chain of hotels is great. Everything packed into small room that yu could possibly need. Plus, inclusive of breakfast (traditional Japanese home style, but great), Wifi, and shuttle to and from station. Best value we have experienced in Japan at low end.

The location is great. Only 2 minutes walk to the nearest subway station which is the interchanging point of two subway lines. Though the hotel is 2 stations away from the Nagoya station, the free shuttle bus offered by the hotel makes the connection highly convenient. Free breakfast is included which serves Japanese rice dumplings, miso soup, vegetables, toast and... More

I stayed at this hotel 5 days, because I was in Nagoya to see the sumo tournament. This hotel has a great location, 15 min by foot from the sumo stadium and the castle. 15 min by foot from Fushimi station with all the restaurants an shopping centers. The hotel is also one minute away from the subway station but... More
