This hotel is in a central, busy shopping district with plenty shops and restaurants round about . The rooms are basic and clean and entered by a metal key ( one per room) and have the usual layout - fairly small room- 2 singles , fridge( empty) tea / coffee and kettle,TV ( no English channels - but you can buy... If you have stayed in a Tokyo hotel before it will be immediately familiar , everything is the same , flat screen TV , slightly dated furniture , bathroom pre built pod , just like a cruise ship. Small fridge etc. No surprises, breakfast is a choice Japanese or western buffet style all ok nothing outstanding

The hotel has a starbucks downstair which is good for morning breakfast. Not a walking distance from the JR station but there are plenty of taxis around the clock. The rooms just like in other japanese hotels are quite small. Although the hotel is quite old, but it was well maintained. There are plenty of bars around that caused noise... More

Central hotel in nice shopping district. Plenty of places to eat outside the hotel. Large foyer area, standard procedure for registering. Very clean and bright. Some pressure on waiting for lifts when coach parties arrive. Standard bedroom, clean, good facilities, comfortable bed and pillows, tea and coffee, hair dryer available. Breakfast was very good, from Japanese to western full breakfast... More

The Tokyu Hotels are a chain that put in their appearance all over Japan. The chain hotels aim at consistency of facilities and standards of service, the bench mark of which, although not exceptionally high, is of acceptable standards. The Tokyu Inn at Nagoya is in this tradition. Its large lobby is not distinguished by any objet-de-arte. Its elevators follow a more... More

Great location with respects to local shopping and restaurants. Lots of iconic brands such as coach, Gucci, United arrows, etc. just a few steps out the front door. Starbucks is always a positive I the lobby to plan your trip for the day (lobby wifi extends into Starbucks). The tourist bus stop is just a 3 minute walk away. ¥1000... More

The hotel is in a nice shopping district. Public transport from airport by Meitetsu mu-SKY train to Kanayama station, followed by subway to Sakae took only about an hour and was quite convenient unless you have a lot if luggage.. Once you get your bearings, you can make use of Sakae underground streets to exit from the Maruei Department Store... More
