It used to be a better hotel but in recent years they have lost their standard. Room was clean enough but not very large. Can see some areas are starting to age fast. Breakfast was OK but can be noisy. Quality of the breakfast was also OK and nothing to rave about. Years ago I would rate 4 stars but... More

We stayed for one night at the hotel. The check-in process was efficient. It was worth paying a bit more for a room that has the view of the castle. The location was good and convenient for visiting the castle that was only 10 mins' walk. The room was small and dated and hoped it would be refurbished. As we... More

in our last trip, we get a room directly opposite of the castle. how a beautiful scenery of the castle. The room in castle side is big enough to stay comfortably. The staff service is nice and handy. They prepare plentiful of food for breakfast and also prepare some healthy food and juice. it's a beautiful night stay at Westin... More

The hotel is located right across the Nagoya Castle. Late March to early April, you can see amazing view of Sakura (Cherry trees) around castle from the hotel. There is free shuttle bus from JR Nagoya station (every hour), and it takes about 15 min. But please note that there is no luggage stage on the bus, and you have... More

Great view if your room is placed facing the castle. Our room was on the opposite side facing the city, so no fun at all. Slightly small for two people to be sleeping in a semi-double bedroom. The check-in service was smooth, but would have preferred some smile from the front desk clerk. She seemed very nervous. She must have... More

The staff of the Westin Nagoya Castle were very accommodating, doing their best to squeeze our family of five into one room (I sorted it out over email). Was tight but fine (and saved money, as it’s a bit nicer than we’re used to!) And our room looked right out over the castle! However, the best bit was the fact... More

I arranged a two-night stay. Arriving at the Nagoya JR station, I called the hotel to get information on the shuttle bus. The attendant hung up on me! So we took a taxi, and on check-in, I asked the GM Hitoshi Nimura to contact me. He did not do so. Our room was a std. twin on the 8th floor... More

We stayed here in April for one night as a stopover. We were upgraded to a suite at checkin and had an amazing view of Nagoya Castle by night. Room was spacious and comfortable despite not having a king bed. Quality of toiletries in the upgraded room were great too. Hotel and rooms felt a bit aged, maybe peaked in... More

This hotel is located right opposite the Nagoya castle and a short walk to the Nagoya gardens and pergolas covered in wisteria and scented bushes edge the moat around the castle. View from our room straight to Nagoya castle across the road. Beautiful. Beds even though twin are like large double beds. Excellent pillows and mattresses. Hotel runs a shuttle... More

We stayed here for one night as we transferred from Nagoya to Kyoto and was pleasantly upgraded to the Presidential Suite when we checked in late in the evening. We really appreciated the extra space, bigger bathroom and a separate "living room". Since it was completely dark out when we got to the room, we didnt see the Nagoya Castle... More
