5-day leisure stay. Location is 15 minute walk to subway in either direction, free shuttle to main station every half hour for 10 hours. Cigar bar was interesting treat. Concierge was incredibly valuable. 4 or more choices of on-property dining. Paid wireless but you can connect to another wi-fi in certain locations for free. Staff was professional and helpful. Laundry... More

Thank you for taking a time to write such a positive review for our hotel. The nearest subway station is Sengencho, 8 minute walk from the hotel. There is also a complimentary shuttle bus available between Nagoya Station and the hotel. It departs Nagoya Station every hour between 9:00 and 20:00, and return between 8:30 and 20:30. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It isn't that accessible from the main station. Also room seemed a little dated as any other typical Japanese hotels. But view from room window was enough to got me over the little issues.

Had a 1 night stay here over a super busy weekend. Every hotel in the area was sold out including the westin. The hotel is located about a $10 cab ride away from the station. Check in was really quick when we arrived. With the hotel being super full, there were no upgrades available but we were put in a... More

Overall we are satisfied with the hotel. It got a great location with attentive services. If one gets a room with the castle view, that's a big plus. It's better make sure when booking a room. One thing I can point out is that rooms need to be upgraded. Almost all furniture are pre-Westin era and they are too simple.... More

No doubt, the Westin Nagoya Castle is a beautiful hotel. We stayed three days in late December and were very happy with the choice. It was a real treat. The view of the castle from our room was just stunning. I could have just sat for hours and looked out of the window. The room itself was surprisingly big and... More

Stayed here for the first time in seven years and I seem to have fonder memories then vs. now. But thankfully that didn't mean the stay was awful! Indeed the location seems out of the way unless Nagoya Castle itself is your must-see. Aside from that, it's located in a quiet neighborhood. There is a Circle K convenience store a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights! we arrived at the hotel a little early before check-in time so we need to wait, but when it is already 3pm they told us that only 1 room is available! I was disappointed hearing that! so we waited another 30 minutes or so for the other rooms to be available. But the good... More

The hotel is so beautiful and services impeccable. Breakfast was fabulous. The view was breathtaking. The view of the Nagoya Castle at night from the hotel was simply magical. Room was cosy and the bedding very luxurious. Amenities in the room were very generous. Loved the soaps and shampoos. And they even provide pyjamas in addition to bathrobes and slippers... More

I don't understand the reviews that say the rooms here are dingy and old. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our one night in the hotel where we found very comfortable beds, good lighting, and very helpful staff. In addition, the restaurant on the top floor served the best "western" food we had during our 10-day stay in a Japan.... More

The lobby was nice. The rooms are very outdated. The bathroom looks "dingy" and old. The rooms in this hotel needs a major make over. It's so disappointing for a four star hotel .The staff was very helpful. They can speak good English.
