Started off slow and poor. Took over 20 minutes to check in which was really frustrating. Once checked in relaxed and enjoyed my stay. The rooms are nice. Strangely the gym doesn't open until late morning, midday. Not sure why. The gym isn't that great needs an upgrade with machines and weights. Appealing to an older client at the moment.... More

We stayed here as a family of four. We found a very good deal on line and booked directly with the hotel. We wanted to go shopping in the Sakae area and found that it was walking distance to all the major shopping places we wanted to hit. There is a pharmacy around the corner and many convenience stores/coffee shops... More

This hotel is old and gloomy and definitely needs a refurb. Room was tiny and so was the double bed. 3 of us squashed in a bed...not so pleasant. (my husband, 2 year old daughter and I) The cot they provided for our 6 month old baby was wobbly and ancient! One good thing...location.

My family stayed here for 3 nights. Tokyu is an established brand name, so you will get the service standards expected of an established hotel. However, little incidents made our stay here less than perfect -- 1st, We arrived on a rainy evening. I was carrying my youngest who had fallen asleep. There was a doorman at the main entrance,... This hotel is close, 5 min walk to a lot of shopping and the train. The staff are very helpful and the hotel is very clean. A nice size room for Japan and comfy bed. There is a buffet breakfast 1/2 Japanese 1/2 American. If you book the executive room you have access to a private lounge that has drinks... More

Located 5 minutes walk from Sakae which is the central Nagoya. Their building look modern but the main entrance is starting to age a bit. My room was large enough and very clean but not enough lighting so it can be slightly too dark. Room size was big enough and it was good for 4 days stay. Wifi was easy... More

Stayed 6 nights for a business trip. Unfortunately booked pretty late and got a room on the 5th floor, which had the sun from dawn to dusk. Rooms on the 5th floor (511 onwards) also faced a huge landing in front, making it difficult to draw the blinds at night. Otherwise rooms though small are comfortable. The staff manning concierge... This was the last destination on our ten-day tour and we had five pieces of luggage forwarded from two different destinations. Upon checking in, not only were our rooms already assigned but the luggage bags were already neatly placed in our rooms. Rooms are spacious and well-furnished and beds super comfortable. Easy access to and from Chubu Airport with the... More

This was my third stay at this hotel, I was there for four nights 17-21st November. The lobby area is very welcoming as is the frontage of the hotel. All the staff are polite and speak good English. My room was on the 12th floor which is non-smoking, however my room did smell a little of smoke. My room was... More

Stayed at this hotel only for one night, but quite liked it. The staff was friendly and attentive, the room was extremely clean and recently renovated and the location was quite good. My only issue was with the old furniture and curtains that made an otherwise lovely room look dated. People not staying in double rooms might find the rooms... More
