Checked in on Aug 23 and raised that this was my husband birthday trip. My sentence was halfway spoke and the staff in black suit rejected my upgrade request. King bed was requested but turned out to be two twins bed for a family of 3. Other staff were friendly and helpful. Location is superb.

Nagoya Marriott is very convenient because it is in the Nagoya train station. However, I didn't like the internet which you have to login all the time and the gym is very small and gets crowded with few people. Besides that I think the service is quite good and rooms are modern.

Thank you very much for choosing to stay at Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel on your recent trip. We are afraid that you could not spend comfortable time in gym because it was crowded. In the future, if there is an opprtunity you will stay with us, please contact the fitness center when you plan to come to our gym. We... More

Best hotel, best position in Nagoya. Shinkansen and all trains stop here, Takashimaya and Tokyo Hands in the same building plus hundreds of eateries and restaurants inside. Venture out and it's shop till you drop. Opposite Midland Square where my business meetings are, it is the highest structure in Nagoya where they also have shops and restaurants and cinemas. Hotel... I've stayed in this hotel twice now. Both times I've been blown away by the hotel. Awesome views across Nagoya, not a surprise when the lobby is on floor 15. We had a suite this time which was massive, huge comfy bed, lovey big bathroom and a massive window to take in views of Japan. Breakfast is of the highest... More

The Marriott Nagoya reflects the older style Marriott hotels, with a bit more glamour than the modern flair of the Marriott Osaka and Tokyo. Rooms are decorated with marble and gold, and the red and tan branding of the prior generation of Marriott interior design. Classical music can be heard through the elevators and public areas. We had two rooms,... More

I stayed there for a few nights for business and it had all the amenities needed. The breakfast had a lot of choice to offer, the rooms were spacious and I enjoyed the view. It misses character and personality, but it was a good choice for the needs of our business trip.

Takashimaya Department Store, JR Station and Meitetsu Department Store were located at downstairs of this hotel. It's very convenience for shopping and travel around with JR. The room size was fine but cannot said spacious. The sanitation was good. However the room decoration was a bit tarnished and it was a kind of classic hotel style decoration. Their staffs were... Its location is excellent but the standard double rooms are what we call in Europe single rooms. The bed is around 1,2m wide and it is adjacent to the wall. So the one of the couple has to jump over the other to get down from the bed!!! There is no room for 2 suitcases! The room we stays was... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the hotel. The location was excellent and has easy access to shopping malls and transport system. An interesting arrangement by the hotel was that no check-in was available until 2pm. All customers were merely advised to leave their luggages at the hotel without the need to leave their names and return by 2pm. A... More

It's a nice hotel with spacious rooms, but my recommendation is to avoid the rooms on its west side facing the railroad. At night you cannot ignore the train noise interfere your peaceful rest. Other than that it is very convenient for any kind of visitors to Nagoya area.
