Five minutes walk from Nagoya central station the location is excellent for getting around the city and out of it. The hotel itself is very much a business style place with basic, clean and comfortable accommodation. Nothing remarkable but also nothing to complain about.

Found difficult to go to hotel from train station when following the instructions on hotel website. We arrived at last with the help of Google map, but once you arrived and know the way, it was easy and convenient. Staff were friendly and communication was not a problem. Simple breakfast but with good variety of food items. Room was clean... More

Rooms are pleasant enough, and it's a good location being a short walk from Nagoya station. Some of the rooms on Level 11 are a bigger with king beds so recommend you ask for those. Front desk staff were helpful and really tried.

It was clean room with very friendly and service minded straff. With that said, the room was tiny, and the bed extreamly hard, and I usually prefer a firm bed. The hotel restaurant and bar is ok, but close very early. Nearby you can find restaurants and bars open to at least midnight.

I stayed at Mercure Nagoya Cypress during the month of June. The hotel was easy to find, it was just a short 5mins walk from Nagoya station. Very convenient for travellers using the JR trains, Kintetsu trains or the subway line. There was a Lawsons just across the hotel, a few restaurants nearby, and a shop selling beauty products. I... For Japan the room was really quite large. Location brilliant only 5 mins walk to Nagoya station. Staff very obliging and always cooperative. Really clean and tidy..........just like all of Japan. I recommend this hotel mainly for a great location and larger room.

The staff is very cooperative and well behaved. Breakfast menu is ok , not elaborate. The main door closes at 1am, which means you are not allowed to enter the hotel if you wish to enjoy the night life. No gymnasium, no swimming but yes, they have an option of in room spa which I did not use. Rooms are... More

This was the third hotel that I had booked to stay at during a brief holiday in Japan. I had been used to tiny, functional rooms in moderately graded and priced business hotels, but this one excelled on all levels. Yes, it was dearer, but well worth the extra. The first impression of my ninth floor room immediately lifted my... More

The room & hotel is quite compact, but this is typical for Japan. The rooms are well serviced & kept very clean. The staff I interacted with all had good english so there was no problem conversing with them when the need arose. The hotel itself is located only a 5 minute walk from Nagoya station with access to the... More

Rooms are small to other asian countries, but facilities are high quality with good bath, spring toilet and soap gels with nice fragrance. Electric plugs are small flat two pins with no three pin outlet of europe type. Service is execellant with helpful smill and skill.
