Location is good, close to Nagoya st. Nice and friendly staff at the desk, but staff in resturant were all over the place and dident seem to speak english. The food was good and so were the drinks. We paid for a lux room and when I looked at the pictures I was really looking forward to our last night... More

Simple hotel in Nagoya! I would say it has no frills but it was a comfortable stay. Basic amenities but room provides comfort and the staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast was reasonable. I forgot my Klipsch headphone and they kept it for me. Thank you so much.

Typical for a hotel room in Japan, it's not too big but it's sufficient for a business stay. Amenities are L'Occitane. Japan Times comes with International New York Times, which is nice, since Japan Times is mediocre for a newspaper. Free LAN based and WiFi based network connections in each room, but the wifi network isn't that stable. Breakfast at... More

We arrived at the hotel just past noon. The rooms were not ready yet but we left our luggage at the concierge which were already taken to the room we came back. Though not speaking fluend English, all the staff were very courteous and trying their best to help you. There was about 10 minutes walking from Nagoya Station where... More

Room is bigger than typical Japanese hotel. Few blocks away from nagoya station. Lawson (mini market) is just accross the street and few blocks away you can find japanese 24 hour food. Next door you find Hida Beef Restaurant. Now I dont have to go to Takayama to eat my favorite Hida Beef :)

Free Wifi is the best thing when traveling, and this hotel offers it. Although rooms are pretty small - i think i have a Full size bed, luckily it's just me. Bathroom is fairly small but enough for one person. Carpet has some stains on it and needs replaced. I think it's fine for one person, but definitely not 2.... More

The internet is now FREE....wow...i guess the cost is built into room charges. Also now breakfats is also included in the hotel room package but unfortunately i only managed to get up once to eat breakfast. Generally the hotel and staff are good they should introuduce a key drop box for those who just dropping off key in morning as... More

This hotel just charges for everything. At check in being a gold member, I asked if I could have an upgrade, they tried to explain to me, since it's a Mercure, they don't give upgrades. Booked a double room, and asked if we could have twin beds, he wanted to charge us extra, which is ok if it's just a... More

This a reasonable hotel located a few minutes walk from Nagoya station, accessible underground during the day to just a half a block away. It is a typical Mercure Hotel, and like every hotel I experienced in Japan, enjoys good service and excellent staff. Two things amazed me about this hotel; In all my years as a hotelier and a... The hotel is located about 5 mins walk from Nagoya station. Service was good with the manager taking me to the room. The room was a standard class of rooms in Japan. However internet was charged as opposed to being normally free. Breakfast which is included, was a good spread. Convenient store is right across the road. TV provided had... More
