This hotel was in good surrounding, with starbuck cafe on the street floor. There is a convenient store and curry rice restaurant across the street, small fruit store at side, big convenient store also in the big crossing street and so many restaurant scattered around hotel. The only downside was hotel room was small, but clean and cozy. Internet is... More

First of all, the Best Western Nagoya was excellent value. I had originally intended to book a more upscale hotel but then I found this "Stay 3 Nights Pay for 2" deal on Best Western's own website. It was even cheaper than budget hotels so I simply could not resist such a good deal. I stayed for a total of... More

Great hotel in Nagoya. Location: 5 mins walk from Sakae Station (Exit 12), which itself is 2 stops from Nagoya Station on the Higashiyama Line. For those wanting a break from local food, there is a Starbucks located inside the hotel. There is also a MacDonald's, several french style cafes, and local food joints between Sakae Station and the hotel.... More

Stayed here in May with my family. The room size is reasonable. Stable wifi. Toilet was clean and the room as well. They even provide shampoo and body lotion in the bathroom. Check in and check out was fast as the staff was efficient. It's about 5 mins walk from Sakae Station from Exit 12. Along the way, you can... More

We stayed here for three nights. The room was surprisingly big for Japan hotels, we had a twin room which had 2 large singles and a good amount of floor space. There was also an armchair and a coffee table, with an extra office type chair, nice to have a little seating area. We found the hotel easily enough once... More

We stayed here as a group of three. The room had a large bed and a cot set up; the bed was good, but the cot wasn't as nice (though still manageable). The room itself was a bit small but since we were only using it for sleeping that was fine. The room came with a kettle and free internet,... More

It is located a 5 minute+ walk from underground. Our room was spatious enough and had a view which is not that usual for this category of hotels. In my opinion a good no frills budget option, both room- and location-wise. Will absolutely consider for my next visit to Nagoya.

This location is relatively easy to find, and very central to wherever you wish to go in Nagoya. We only stayed overnight for a tattoo convention (Nagoya Tattoo Circus, do not miss this if you are lucky enough to be in town that day, its an annual thing, very alternative, only go if you are heavy into the tattoo culture)... This hotel is well located around many restaurants and close to the Sakae subway station. There is a Starbucks coffee shop on the first floor, so that was a nice surprise. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The only problem is that the windows do not open to the outside so the air in the room is stale. However, the... More
