The hotel is in city centre & a couple of minutes walk from Fushimi subway station (Yellow line) or Fushimi Cho Station where Meitetsu bus would take all the way to the Centrair Airport and back. . The room is small (normal Japanese standard) but clean & comfortable, It comes with FREE Western & Japanese buffet breakfast (saves your expenses).... More

The hotel is very good, simple but great. The location is excellent, the service is great, there is a good breakfast, more Japanese style but it´s good. There is a great Australian Bar (Shooters) next to the hotel, subway station and comercial center.

Having stayed in hotels all over the world I can honestly say that I have never stayed in such a value for money hotel. I would totally recommend it to anyone visiting Nagoya that literally wants a place to stay. The hotel was clean and tidy and staff both polite & friendly. Yes the rooms are very small and basic... The room had a little more space to move around than some other hotels we have stayed in in a similar price range, the beds were comfy and though the wifi didn't work in our room reception sent somebody up with a LAN cable within 30 seconds of us requesting it. Breakfast was a decent selection of bread buns as... More

If your looking for a clean, inexpensive and convenient room in downtown nagoya this is a great place. Under Y8,000 per night and right around the corner from Fushimi station and only mnutes to Sakae or Nagoya station. Better than your average business hotel.

Stayed at the Hamilton Black for 3 nights in March and I thought that it was good value for the money. The room was a bit small and there was very little room to store my stuff but otherwise it was OK. For non-smokers I recommend that you insist on the non-smoking rooms, my smoking room was a bit musty... More

We didn't know what to expect of this hotel when we arrived in Nagoya because the rates were very reasonable and the facade looked small. But when we got to our rooms, I was very happy. It was small, but VERY clean! The beds were so comfortable that I was tempted to just stay in and sleep. Location-wise, there's not... More
