Location: The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the Fushimi subway station. It is about 10-15 min walk to the busy Sakae entertainment, shopping and restaurant area, so close enough to the action but being in a quieter neighbourhood. We did not mind walking much, so we were able to even walk to the Aichi Prefecture Gymnasium/Nagoya Castle... More

Not to be confused with another hotel nearby in busy Sakae, this hotel is located in central Nagoya, near to the Fushimi subway. It is within 5~10 mins walking distance to 3 subway stations so it is well connected. The area is quiet at night, but still within 5-10 mins walking distance to various restaurants and also the busy area... More

This hotel was easy to find, and was in a reasonable location, between Fushimi and Sakae. We were in Nagoya to see the Sumo tournament, and this hotel was perfect for that. The room was actually larger than most Japanese hotel rooms, which was a pleasant surprise! Hotel staff were friendly, polite and helpful.

Be careful of the name as there are 2 hotels with similar names, this one is not in Sakae. It is close to Fishima subway station and as such one stop from the central station and one stop from downtown. There seems to have been a worldwide period of hotel building about 20 years ago after which the money ran out... More

Do not get confused with the other trusty hotel in sakae. Hotel is fairly old and need of a little talc. Booked a double room for our first night and had to change to another room for the second. All they had was a semi double but there really is not much difference. So if you want to spend less... More

Room size was ok for 1 person. A window that faces a wall of another building with no sunlight, and the room was smelly. I reserved a non-smoking room, but the room smelled like it was a smoking room. Glad I only stayed there for 1 night. Staff is polite.

I am currently in Nagoya staying here and the service has been fabulous. I am American and do not speak any Japanese, but this has not been a problem. The staff has been extremely courteous. The hotel was much better than I expected since I paid a very low amount for the room. It came with breakfast as well and... More

hotel rooms in Japan is always small. the room we stay had a tiny window, facing the back alley, no view but quiet. everything is clean and staff speaks basic English. We were there for the Aichi Triennale (very good exhibition) and it's close to the four exhibition areas. restaurant choices are plenty around the hotel. Considering the price, it's... More

This hotel is a little gem. Excellent facilities and friendly staff. Very comfortable rooms and the best Japanese breakfast in Nagoya. They will give you more rice and green tea if you ask. Lovely breakfast room. I will be staying here again on my next visit. The staff on the front desk were really helpful and gave us some great... More
