This hotel may be a bit hard to find if you don't know the exact location and are coming from the Subway station. We asked a few people who seemed clueless about the exact location and our lack of Japanese did not help. However, it is actually quite close to the Subway and is easily accessible once you know where... More

Staffs: Hotel staffs (front desk) were very helpful. Their english is quite good. They also provided me in depth information about the place i would like to go. With their help, they provide me subway map and also printed detail and google map of the place i would like to visit. Location: very excellent location walk just 20m. and cross... More

Stayed 3 nights early Oct.Not easy to find, could do with sign posting upon exit from Fushimi subway, had to ask 2 passing policemen who consulted a potable device to show us the way. Room small, hardly space enough for 2 suitcases. Well furnished with toiletries, clean and adequate. Breakfast was included in our stay,a choice of Western or Japanese. We... More

After a few smaller rooms, this one was nice to enter. The Queen bed was 10 cm wider than we are used to. Great reception upon arrival. The rooms were very clean. The lounge was a nice place to have dinner. Dinner was superb . Breakfast was not included, though we had it, but didn't find it great.

A few friends, my hubby & I stayed here during our Nagoya trip (end of May '14). We reached Nagoya in the evening. We took train from the airport and subways to the nearest station. We had difficulty looking for the hotel as it was dark in the evening, raining and we had no umbrella/raincoat. We asked few people for... More

I spent a week at this hotel, which is well situated for subway travelling and shopping - all the great names are there. The hotel staff is VERY polite and helpful, but speak little english. The room I had was very clean but also very little - small bed with only one pillow, I had to bend over to look... More

behind the ridiculously over-sized lobby are small, boxy, cookie-cutter, charmless rooms, with old beds, worth no more than around 7,000 jpy/night. there was not even coffee in room. while the bathroom was not the usual one piece of moulded plastic, there were cigarette burn marks on the plastic washbasin. and a dank smell in the room on arrival - apparently... Stayed for 3 nights in this hotel, the entrance looks ok, counter staff spoke basic english. Our room is located on the 5th floor, the corridors smells smokey and our room, though adequate with a comfortable bed and pillows, smells musky. The smell improves after the air-con is turned on. The rooms however looks quite retro (real retro with age). I... More

This hotel should be your top pick in Nagoya if you are looking to get the value of a four star hotel for barely the price of a three stars one. The hotel offers rooms bigger than the japanese average so they are perfect for us, bigger clunkier westerners, and well equiped complete bathrooms. The AC is silent and works... More

Location: The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the Fushimi subway station. It is about 10-15 min walk to the busy Sakae entertainment, shopping and restaurant area, so close enough to the action but being in a quieter neighbourhood. We did not mind walking much, so we were able to even walk to the Aichi Prefecture Gymnasium/Nagoya Castle... More
