Me and my mother stayed at this hotell for just a couple of days ago, and that was the best hotel i ever lived on to me totally honest. They had the best service and really knew what they were doing. The resturant was very good, they took good care of my allergies, the chef james whitesmith and his colleges... More

I stayed at Hotel Intercontinental Aqaba with my husband and daughter of two years. The hotel is located right by the beach, which was great for our kid. Nice rooms, and extremely friendly staff. We ate out most nights, but we found the lunches at the hotel really good. There were not many kids at the hotel, and not many... More

We really enjoyed our week at this excellent hotel with our three kids. Wonderful location next to the beach with well designed heated pools for children and adults. Nice spa and fitness facilities. Plenty of water activities and the possibility to taste local food at restaurants in town when you were fed up with hotel food. We'll surely be back... More

This hotel is in very good shape. Large rooms. Suitable for couples, but very expensive prices on everything. Short (walking) distance to the city. If you're a family consider the Møvenpick in Talabay, as they have more offers to children. The hotel has its own very nice beach with a view to Israel.

I chose this hotel as I wanted a few nights of luxury and access to a private beach, and I was not disappointed. Staying with a friend, we had a fantastic 3 night stay here. From the moment we checked in, we encountered only friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help. All areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean.... More

The hotel is right on its own private beach, from which you can safely and easily swim in the Red Sea, while scanning in turn Jordan, Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia! Excellent truly 5 star hotel, spotlessly clean, large rooms with every amenity (except free internet access), swimming pools, bars, restaurants galore! It is worth eating in the Lebanese restaurant... More

Purposes of trip: Honeymoon Date: April 2010 (Easter) Room Booked: Suite with club access Service: All good but nothing over and beyond. I had to prompt beachside service a few times. Room: Suite located on the ground floor. We could climb over the balcony and jump into the pool. Room starting to date. TV failed a few times and maintenance... More

In planning our 2 week trip to Israel and Jordan, we had not planned on staying at this hotel. In fact, while we had planned to spend 2 nights in Aqaba enroute to Israel from Petra, we had booked a room at a different hotel that turned out to be a total dump (aka Coral Bay Hotel). So, as we... We came back last Sunday after a very leisurely week in the Intercontinental. The hotel may not be top-design compared to the Kempinski next door, but is is very nice and cozy, with a beautiful swimming pool and a very nice beach. The staff is very helpful. We took the option for the club-lounge, and a sea-view. I think it... More
