We stayed here for four nights on the tail end of a trip through Jordan and in general were happy with our choice of hotel (particularly since we walked past the neo-fascist architectural abomination of the neighbouring Kempinski at least four times a day). We booked a club room with a sea view for 160 JD per night (not including... More

This hotel still misrepresents itself today on its web site. When faced with issues at the hotel it does nothing to rectify. It should sell itself as the 3 star hotel it is when comparing the benchmark of real 5 star Intercontinental hotels for service and facilities.

Stayed for three nights with family in adjoining rooms with view of the ocean. Rooms were ok although toilet in bathroom didn't have good water flow. Beds were comfortable. We tried three restaurants. The cafe off the main lobby was pretty average but service was pretty fast; good place to go with small kids. The steak restaurant was mediocre and... More

Hotel is what you would expect from an Intercon. Rooms are extremely well appointed, public areas are good and club lounge is well organised.

The hotel service is great. Exactly what you would expect from a 5 star and unfortunately do not receive from most 5 stars. The city is just ok but developing nicely. Tourist - be CAREFUL of local scams, especially the cabs. Most locals are very nice and friendly although will scam a tourist very easily. Tourist police take it very... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in March 2007 to see Aqaba and do some diving. The hotel was excellent and what you would expect from a 5 star. There is not very much to do in Aqaba itself but the hotel is walking distance to everything you need to see and do. I would stay there again.

This was a nice hotel with a very nice pool area, situated on the beach. The hotel is approx 5 min walk from the city centre. I would rate it amongst the top 3 in Aqaba.

We had a great stay at the Intercontinental for 4 nights in middecember. Everything from breakfast and the gym to the pools was perfect. The staff couldn´t be more serviceminded and professional. Just go!
