Hotel had a great layout, location slight out of town centre. Staff were very friendly. Rooms average, but cleanliness good if not perfect (rooms cleaned but balcony not during one week) The breakfast restaurant and staff was absolutely excellent. The restaurant doubled as the buffet dining area in evenings and again the meals and staff were absolutely top class. The... more

I always choose this hotel when in Aqaba, the lebanese restautant is great, although I think that all it needs is some nightlife like belly dancing and local shows. more

I stayed in a seaview room 301 overlooking the Gulf with my wife and two daughter (both less than 2 years old). From the moment we stepped in the hotel we were warmly welcomed and guided to our rooms even though we arrived 2 hours earlier than check-in time. The staff is simply wonderful, very professional, and always willing to... more

We chose to get married in Jordan because, compared to London prices, we knew that we would get something quite special for better value, and on the beautiful Red Sea! The intercontinental Hotel provided a lovely setting for our wedding and our honeymoon there was exquisite. It's a big hotel but doesn't have that overbearing tourist trap feeling. It's luxurious... more

Upgrade to club lounge as worthwhile. Hot snacks in evening and happy hour make this really good value. Lebanese restaurant in hotel excellent. more

The Food in the Lebanese Restaurant was one of the best I ever tasted, but quite expensive too. For lunchtime - Salads go to the beachside Bar, it's excellent and valuable- try the Tomato-Mozarella Salad with Pesto-Ciabatta! Bad: The Childs-Pool was not heated and very cold - the Jacuzzi next to it was warm, but no children allowed... more

This is a top-quality hotel, with an attractive lobby area; very spacious bedroom; amazingly kind, welcoming staff (as everywhere in Jordan), especially the manager in the Corniche restaurant; excellent breakfast buffet; lovely beach and swimming pools. Highly recommended. more

This hotel has ,by far, the best location in Aqaba if you want to use the beach. And if you don't, what are you doing in Aqaba anyhow? The set up of the Movenpick is surprisingly odd in that it's condominium living units abut the beach but the hotel is across the main drag street and the two areas are... more

We stayed at this lovely hotel for only 1 night but we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. We had a big beautiful bright airy room overlooking the pool. The public areas are all spotless and of a high standard. The only downside was that the reception staff were a bit indifferent, but pleasant enough in a brusque sort of a... more

From the minute you walk in the lobby you know you have booked a very nice hotel. Nice job Intercontinental! We booked an ocean view room on the club floor. When we checked in we were given room keys and told to go up to the room. We arrive to find a very nice room but our view was not... more
