We were due to stay in Wadi Rum before heading to Aqaba, but due to excessive rain in the desert area, we decided to make some last minute changes to our itinerary. We called the manager of the Cedar from Wadi Rum and asked if we could stay there that night instead of the following night. He called back a... More

On the whole, we found our stay at the Cedar Hotel for three nights to be pleasant, sufficient in all ways, and problem-free. We appreciated the simple nature of the rooms, the charm and helpfulness of the staff, and the generally quiet location tucked away from the main thoroughfare. First, as far as getting to the hotel, it can be... More

The rating of this hotel is miss leading, very bad service and location. cannot remember anything nice during my stay there. Next time when visiting Aqaba will pay few JD's more and stay at Double Tree or Movenpick.

Location: just great, central within 5mins walking distance to the city beach and main restaurant and shops area. Room 401: very spacious with plenty room for your luggage, equipped with sofa, two arm chairs and small table. There is tea/coffee station in the room, small fridge, hairdryer, flat TV and aircon unit. The bathroom was decent size and came with... More

Located close near the centre of Aqaba, convenient public parking nearby. The staff did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable, and the hotel was very clean. Rooms were made up every day and towels made into fanciful animal shapes.

In a quiet location, next to a very good fast food with falafel and salads. Big rooms, king size bed, each day other animal made from cloth :). Friendly staff, good breakfast. They are parteners to Berenice Beach, the place were we can swim and dive. I recommend from the heart

In a less touristy street, with parking space next door, a few minutes of walk from the main city coast, and as clean, new, and friendly hotel as you can get. Not a beach hotel, of course, but a perfect place to stay overnight before you head out to Wadi Rum. Decent breakfast.

Good choice to stay for backpackers, travelers etc for a night or two. Not a perfect Hotel for families with children or long stayers, there's no own restaurant/bar, basic breakfast include a room fee. Noisy street front of the hotel.
