We spent 4 days in this hotel. It was very quiet, bespite it was just in the center. There are a lot good restaurant and bakery close to the hotel. The room service prepared very nice towel made of birds. In the bathroom we found special herb soups. The buffet breakfast consist of many kind of vegetables, pastry and joghurt... More

We stayed here in the hotel for one day last month. The room was spotlessly clean. The service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was more than sufficient. I found the hotel value for money for the tariff we paid.

Stayed for one night - and we were glad it was only one night. Though very convenient to downtown area (easily walkable), rooms were shabby - stains on carpet, smoky smeling, no safe, etc. Be sure to take far elevator else you will be surprised (taking front elevator as one couple in our party did opned on 5th floor to... Situated on one of the main streets in central Aqaba, this hotel is well placed for down town. It is a modern multi-story building with a large reception area and a restaurant behind. Rooms are large with a fierce air conditioning that is hard to control. The TV has limited channels with none in English. The bathroom is basic with... More

Al Zaitouna hotel is located in the city center close to the area where the more posh hotels are. Rooms are clean and comfortable as is the reception area. Compared to other hotels in this price range in Jordan it's good value. No alcohol served but that's no place because there are plenty of restaurants nearby that serve beer/wine.

We stayed here as part of the Exodus - A Week in Jordan tour. It was basic, a little shabby but fine. The location was good, just a short distance to the sea, the roman ruins and the ruins of an old church. The breakfast was limited but fine for a couple of nights. Two nights in Aqaba is long... Stayed at this hotel 5 yrs ago in August 2004. The hotel was very basic. Clean, rooms had all necessities, a/c worked well, washroom, hair dryer. Room service available, reasonably priced. Hotel was a good location, not a far walk from the souk or even restaurants. Room rates were very reasonable as well. All in all, a basic hotel, that... More

When I saw the outside of the hotel, I was concerned, but inside the hotel was much nicer. We had bright spacious rooms in a new section. The rooms were clean and everything including the fridge worked (not like all the hotels I stayed at in Jordan). The breakfast was fine although you had to make toast on a panini... More
