My girlfriend and I had high hopes for the Movenpick Aqaba after a decadent stay at Movenpick Dead Sea. On check in, we were pleased to find we had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom poolside apartment. Funnily enough though, we weren't that happy with it - while it was closer to the pool and beach, the level of cleanliness... more

Arrived in the evening after a horrendus stay at the Movenpick Taba so weren't sure what to expect but was hoping it would be as good as the Movenpick Pyramids in Cairo! It was better! The staff were welcoming, the rooms immaculate, room service to die for, breakfast buffet out of this world. What more can one ask for? We... more

We stayed 2 weeks in Jordan and 3 nights at Moewenpick - Aquaba. The hotel is overall very good, nice beach, comfortable, well furnished, good service and the best buffet we had during our trip. If I have one negative comment it is the smell, we had a no smoking room but as half of the floor was smoking, the... more

What a superb hotel - we travel a lot with both business and leisure and have to say this hotel is up with the very best. We stayed for 2 sets of 4 nights, both times were allocated fantastic rooms. We had booked Executive suites for both stays and the 1st set we had an appartment within the hotel which... more

This hotel is simply beautiful from the architecture in the lobby, to the gorgeous flower arrangements, to the stylish rooms and lovely swimming pool. There are several resturants some are a little pricey but we ate a la carte in the buffet resturant which was reasonable for a five star hotel. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a huge choice.... more

Like several others, I stayed here while on a Jules Verne tour. The many good points: the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, fresh and up to standard, and the the facilities were good - we particularly enjoyed the outdoor pool and private sandy beach. The choice at breakfast was good but the restaurant got a little... more

We stayed here as part of the Grand Tour of Jordan with Voyages Jules Verne in December 2008. The first room at the beginning of the tour did not have a balcony and overlooked a roundabout but was pleasant enough. On our return we did have a balcony but it overlooked the bus station but with side glimpses of the... more

I stayed here as part of the Grand Tour of Jordan with Voyages Jules Verne. We had a couple of nights at the beginning of the tour then 3 nights at the very end. It's a spacious, lovely hotel and I would thoroughly recommend it. The hotel is divided by a road but there is a bridge which connects the... more

We stayed at the Mövenpick Aqaba for a week, booked as a chartered tour by Apollo. For 3 adults, we had chosen a 3 room apartment. A good choice, as these are located in a building on the beach side of the road, near pools and restaurants. All other rooms are in the main building, connected to the beach side... more
