The location is absolutely heavenly, I have not seen any place more beautiful than leopard rock! The golf club is world class. We stayed in a family room with our 7 year old son. The set up was perfect with connected rooms. Rooms were clean and though bathrooms could do with an update, they are not bad. The food though... More

My husband had been here 30 years ago and said nothing much had changed! The bathrooms could do with an update and when we arrived there was a power cut so we were unable to make tea or watch television for several hours. It was very quiet to say the least, not a soul on the beautiful golf course but... More

very beautiful hotel with lovely views and great staff who are always welcoming. One of the best places in Zimbabwe. The food was great as well as the conference services. We had a lovely time as a team in January 2013 including socialising at the casino which opens at convenient hours. I am giving it 4 stars because: 1. although... More

We visited this lovely hotel 14 years ago. At that stage it was very quiet, but we had a wonderful time. It felt like coming home and the graceful old hotel is as gracious as ever, when we visited in December 2012. The buidling and golf course is kept immaculately. The bathrooms do certainly need upgrading , but were very... More

We arrived just before New Year and the hotel was packed. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The rooms are adequate, perhaps not the 4 star they claim as no aircon, and that aside we had a lovely stay. The food was excellent and the South African wine was reasonably priced which makes a change. Pity we could... More

This stunning hotel ahould invest into the future. The staff are friendly but the rooms, especially the bathrooms, are in urgent need for renovation. Just need shower curtains and shower heads would make a wast improvement. The Internet is charged extra but is very unteliable. For the rate charged this should be free.

We stayed for 2 nights in November. Everything was really good apart from their credit card machine. They had said they could take VISA cards but despite trying about 15 times over 3 days, the machine only worked once by miracle. We had to pay mostly in cash. The place is absolutely fantastic, the drive from Mutare is spectacular. I... More

It's an amazing place....laced with history. First build by a British family in the 40th as a family Castle. The name comes from a Leopard that often perched itself on a rock just in front of the Castle. It's been frequented by lots of the royal family and is maintained to an impeccable standard. The rooms are a bit dated... More
