First time visit to this lovely hotel. Whilst it could do with a little TLC the whole place is charming and the service can't be faulted. The golf course has to one of the most scenic in Africa and in pretty good condition. Admittedly it is a bit of a trek to get to Leopards Rock but you certainly wouldn't... More

Old world charm, service with attentiveness and a smile. At the top of the mountain in Vumba (Mist) you will enjoy this exquisite find. Amazing views 360 degrees and you can see Mozambique. I don't play golf but the course looks very well kept. In the middle of nowhere, this amazing place has cable/sky/satellite, you can watch anything, and free... More

The scenery was simply amazing and the golf course beautiful, but the hotel itself could use someTLC. We really enjoyed playing on the golf course and the staff in the pro shop should be complemented for their professionalism and attention to detail. Leave time to get to the hotel as the condition of the road is not too good.

A very pleasant 3 nights at this historic hotel high up in the Vumba mountains. The grounds and golf course are magnificent. The hotel while not luxurious is what is correctly described by another reviewer as charming. We had a suite which was clean and well maintained, with two WC's and a sitting room (with rather uncomfortable furniture0 and two... More

One of the most spectacular and serene settings in Zimbabwe, scenic mountain views in every direction and the feeling that you are immersed in nature. The hotel itself oozes old world charm, which, together with the setting allows you to look past the fact that it needs a freshening up - its patina. Spectacular golf course and being able to... I am not a golfer but i enjoyed walking on the lovely green grass, mesmerized by the natural mists on the Vumba mountains. A few renovations are needed on the rooms. The food is lovely, cocktails are a wonder.Thumbs up to the barman James! Did not like it when they switched off power when i needed to charge my phones.Enjoyed the... More

Although I am not a golfer, I enjoyed a quiet week-end at this historical mountain resort. The golf course is really stunning, the rooms need a bit of revamping and the food needs improving (one of the worst cups of coffee in my life) but it is generally a great week-end retreat, about four hours' drive from Harare. Do not... More

We stayed at Leopards Rock for a week of golfing. The place has character and charm but it does require a fair amount of upkeep and maintenance. Our room was large and clean but a little tired looking. The bed was a little soft but OK. The bathroom had a constant leak from the shower/bathtub so there was always a... More

Went to Leopard Rock for a game of golf and was blown away by the course - its beauty, its challenging holes, its views over the valley and its well kept neat and tidy course. Just fabulous if you are in to golf. We also had lunch at the club house which was great - fast service and lovely food.... More

...for the price. E.g updated furnishings, better dining room (the entrance area is very dated), better amenities - e.g. a spa - the gym was out of use during the Christmas period. I highly recommend the guided hike in the morning, the guide was really good - but he uses the same route everyday. The sunset game viewing deck was... More
