Everything about my stay at Stanley Safari Lodge was 5 stars. Greeted at check-in with a tasty lemonade. We had an open concept room, loved being open to nature. I surprised to never find a bug (only an ant or two). Every night housekeeping would light some mosquito candles around the room, and place hot water bags in the bed... More

Although we were there at low season and there were not many other guests, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, partly because of Peter who gave us his undivided attention. The rooms are very large and have interesting decorations, each with a small private verandah and pool. We set our own times for dinner and breakfast. They also arranged a visit... More

My friends and I stayed here early April. We all loved the lodge, the rooms, the views and the peace and quiet. The staff are very nice but we found mealtimes rather chaotic. We were a group of six and they were not able to keep to the meal times which had been arranged in advance so we were constantly... More

We stayed recently, March 2015 , in the honeymoon suite which after 42 years of marriage was quite a treat ! Very quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of either Livingstone or Victoria Falls. Room was perfect, open fronted with decking and private plunge pool. We fell asleep to the sounds of lions roaring and views of the Vic... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in January and absolutely loved it. The lodge is totally unique, unlike anything I've seen before and the staff goes out of their way to make your stay fantastic. It's about a 25 minute drive from the airport to the lodge and the falls and activity center are less than 5 minutes away. The... More

There are some lovely choices in Zambia to stay at the Falls. Pass over every traditional hotel and land here, at Stanley Lodge. The staff is so attentive to your needs, but without being overbearing. (We loved Desai!) The rooms are lovely and our group of four adults loved the "Stanley" cottage. It was authentic, but at the same time... More

We stayed for two nights at the Stanley Safari Lodge. The lodge is in a secluded area a few kilometres from Victoria Falls and a short drive from Livingstone. It is peaceful and tranquil and has a remarkable view out over the valley towards the Zambezi River. Rooms are lovely and well appointed! Staff are wonderful, friendly and professional. Organising... I took a father daughter trip to Victoria Falls and stayed at the Stanley Safari Lodge, arranged through the tour operator Adventure Life at the beginning of October. It was truly amazing! The personal attentiveness of all of the staff at the lodge made me feel like I was in my own home. The food was spectacular. As my dad... More

Stayed 3 nights at Stanley Safari Lodge at the end of August; the lodge is a fairly secluded spot, but only a short distance drive from all of the must-visit Livingstone hotspots and activities (Victoria Falls; Livingstone Island tour; Devil's Pool; Zambezi rafting), with the rooms, actually sort of small houses or chalets, located not too far from the main... My husband and I spent several days at Stanley Safari Lodge, and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It felt like an oasis of calm after our early morning game drives in Botswana. We stayed in an open chalet, which was spacious and very well-appointed, and we loved waking up to the fresh air and distant sounds of the neighbouring lions.... More
