My husband needed to do some work in Livingstone for two days and then we were off on holiday. When we arrived at Chrismar we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff members in a lovely reception area and we were taken to our room through a lovely restaurant/pool/bar area but that was about where it ended. The rooms... More

We stayed here for five days and were very happy with the hotel. We were lucky to be upgraded to one of the suites which was really nice. The food was OK, the service was great and the staff were all really lovely happy people who were very helpful. There is a sunken bar surrounded by the lovely swimming pool... More

I misconnected on my flight to Livingstone due to a delay by the airline and I ended up stuck in Lusaka, instead of arriving at Livingstone. I called the hotel at 5 p.m., spoke to desk clerk and told her that I was stuck in Lusaka and would not arrive until the next day. When I arrived the next day,... More

We stayed here for 3 nights from where we did the Mukuni Big Five, very close by, visited Victoria Falls, very close by, and had sundowners at the Royal Livingstone Hotel, again very close by. Didn't ever need to go to Livingstone town. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms could do with a bit of modernisation, weird opening windows into... More

Not only was each staff member at the Chrismar friendly and accomodatong, each carried themselves with such a respect and vibrancy. They all had to have been trained in world class service and ensured our business meeting was one of high standards. This is a MUST STAY hotel if you are choosing a place that seeks high quality in the... More

Upon visiting here I should have defiantly checked trip advisor first because some of the problems we experienced had previously been mentioned. The Chrismar is in a good location halfway between the town centre and the falls. It is also a pretty hotel with it's open foyer and bar and pool area. The only other positive of the Chrismar is... This hotel as you drive into the big entrance gives a fantastic impression, the welcome was friendly and we were quickly in our rooms. Although the rooms were alongside each other, one had shampoo and conditioner and the other not. This seemed to be the theme for the hotel, the same but different. The pool was well maintained, the rooms... More

It is a very nice property with all the facilities in room, very authentic African look. but modern facilities. We really enjoyed our stay there..we were given very spacious family room for three of us to stay. Actually accommodation provided to us was more than what we needed. Only issue was with food particularly breakfast. They have same breakfast menu... More
