My group and I stayed in the tents, and it was an experience. It was good to be able to hear the animal wildlife at night as I laid in bed, but the human wildlife was another story. There were several inebriated guests in the neighboring tents, and their partying kept us up much later than we would have preferred.... More

Personally, we did not really enjoy our stay at the Waterfront. The views of the Zambezi and proximity to the falls are very good but there our praise stops I'm afraid. For a start, as a couple, we were totally swamped by huge G-adventure and Toucan travel groups. These groups were extremely loud, drunk and took over the lodge. It... More

This was my second stay at the Zambezi Waterfront and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We loved the restaurant, the views and proximity to everything. The staff are very helpful and can arrange anything from a taxi to the Falls, airport transfers, exchanging money, or activities in the area. The rooms are out of date (plus broken shower head and curtain)... More

The big selling point for this place of course is its view of the Zambezi River and the distant Victoria Falls mist. The food in restaurant was pretty good--the pizzas are great. The room was quite large and had a nice balcony but overlooked a pond that was full of pretty stagnant water. We were there in Winter so it... More

The Waterfront was our third stay in Livingstone and it was just average. It was clean and had all the standards of accommodation facilities. We ate at the restaurant, which was nice as it overlooks the Zambezi. Boat cruises leave from here. It is very convenient for booking and paying for excursions as the Safpar office is directly on site.

Stayed here as part of an end to a tour. The hotel facilities are great and standard across the bored. The room we had all outlook the Zambezi river and you can see the wildlife in your own backyard. Two things I would note is that only bar soap is available in the room (so shampoo must be brought) and... More

The room was clean/standard, had a fridge, shower was good and hot.Bed was comfortable. View of the river was at your feet as you sat out the back of your room or in the restaurant . You could hear the hippos at night. Food was really good and good price. The extra tours were way to expensive..You had to pay for... More

Ok so I stayed in a lodge. Really loved it, happy I did this instead of the tent. Two clean beds, a shower and toilet. The housekeeping lady I had made the room smell amazing and you could hear her singing while cleaning. Really enjoyed running into her. The front desk staff I found rude a check in. I explained... We stayed 3 nights in the Executive Suite at $190 US per night, which lacked heating, TV, phone and real security. The hot water system needed fixing and the shower was spasmodic and cold. I consider this to be a backpackers accommodation standard. the staff were pleasant and helpful. This hotel would be better in a warmer time of year.

Zambezi Waterfront was our last stop before our journey backhome after a 14 day wildside safari in Botswana. The rooms were lovely, the showers GREAT! It was relaxing to sit with dinner overlooking the Zambezi. One evening elephants swam across!! Breakfast was great. Service fantastic.
