We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - our third visit and this time even better. the rooms were bright and welcoming, clean and colourful. All the amenities are there and the atmosphere in the hotel is vibrant and enjoyable. The gardens and surroundings are well kept and the proximity to the Falls is a huge attraction. The dining room and snack... More

Perfect location for the Falls. Very child friendly. Our family of 5 had two adjacent rooms, with an outer door that we could lock so that the inner doors could remain open. The sister hotel, David Livingstone, is more elegant in the perfect setting on the river but less child friendly. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Pool was convenient and... More

De location of Zambezi is perfect. The Victoria Falls are just 200m away! One negative point is that you don't have Wifi in your room, only in the restaurant. On the contrary, you are admitted to the park with your room key. That is very useful. I had a beautiful stay in Livingstone, a great experience to see this renowned... More

An excellent hotel located within a short walk of the Victoria Falls and across the bridge to Zimbabwe. Nicely decorated rooms although a little bit tired and in need of a refresh soon. Lovely grounds where Zebra and impala roam freely and nice restaurant and bar areas. Very nice breakfast and evening buffet of good quality and plentiful. The staff... More

As many reviewers have noted, it is hard to imagine a better location for this hotel. It is within a short walk to the Victoria Falls, is situated on a beautiful wildlife preserve, and has a warm and welcoming feel. The rooms are a bit tired and worn, but a full scale renovation is underway. The grounds are well kept... More

Close to the Victoria falls, falls entry was included which was a surprise to us. Activity desk staff was rather snotty and didn't seem to want to help us or want our business. She failed to mention that the angel falls tour that we booked included full breakfast on the island, so we had breakfast at the hotel first. We... More

The Zambezi Sun is located right at Victoria Falls. You just show your room key at the back gate to be admitted to the park. Rooms are fine with concrete floors, good AC, flat screen, and good bathroom. WIFI is only available in public areas. Grounds are beautiful with sculptures of African animals scattered around. We saw impala and baboon but... More

The hotel has a lovely public area with a beautiful pool and grounds. The room was nicely decorated but a bit small. The location was great as the falls were just a few steps away and hotel guests are admitted without charge. The hotel provides rain ponchos which we needed as the falls were very strong when we were there.... More

This is a very pleasant hotel perfectly located for Victoria Falls. During daylight hours there is literally a back gate to The Falls - just show your room card to get out and in. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped with bright African styling. The staff are polite and helpful, although the pace of life may be a lttle slower... More

Very nice rooms, very clean, very good service, excellent location walking distance from the falls. Very good breakfast buffet, overpriced dinner buffet but there is a reasonable restaurant walking distance.
