The Zambezi Sun resort has many amenities to help one enjoy a vacation in Africa and is located right at Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. While we were there, we attended a show called Dancing Around Zambia which is performed by the Livingstone Performing Arts Foundation (LiPAF). This was such an amazing combination of... more

First time visit to Livingstone to see Vic Falls etc. and stayed at the Zambezi Sun for 3 nights early Oct 2009. The hotel is on a large secure area with its more expensive big brother the Royal Livingstone next door. Zebras and giraffes wander about the area pretty freely. The Zambezi is a perfectly located, family style hotel for... more

The Zambezi Sun is a beautiful hotel. Zebras, Monkeys, Giraffes and Baboons all roam the property giving a true safari experience. Just a short walk from Victoria Falls and a local market make this hotel property a must for Livingstone travelers. The multiple on site resturants offer many options for meals at any budget. Expeditions and other activities are easily... more

We had picked Africa as our destination of choice for a delayed honeymoon. Capetown, Victoria Falls, and Tanzania were the places we wanted to hit up, so we were excited about the Zambezi Sun. Now, you know you pay a little more to stay on the Zambia side - but you don't realize that you are not only paying more... more

Although the location is great and most of the staff were very helpful we found on checking in that they were not prepared, as we were advised & had paid for in advance, for 3 singles to share one room. Our room had a single and a queen and although we expressly advised no sharing of beds, they were not... more

The location of this hotel is it's big selling point, a short walk across to the falls can't be beat! The rooms were large, well cleaned and well appointed and we loved the african design. The grounds and public areas were very pleasant, and fun with the zebra and giraffe wandering around. I found without exeption that the staff were... more

We stayed here for three nights and it was great. Located 5 minutes walk to the Victoria Falls and within the falls park you get to see zebra's giraffe and monkeys all within the hotel area. The pool. restaurant & bar area is well serviced and maintained. Our room was colorful, clean and comfortable. Meals at the restaurant were all... more

It's always hard on Trip Advisor to decide whose opinion is likely to best match your own, one person's meat being another person's poison and all that.... to give you some background, my partner and I are very well-travelled, on business and pleasure, we usually stay in four or occassionally five star places. We like a little bit of understated... more
