This means... to good not bad. But for the money I was giving I was expecting MUCH better service. The rooms are out of this world.. the view is a tick off your bucket list. BUT the service was not that good. But definite to visit and do the boat trips, helicopter ride... and don't forget the devils point !!!

First off, many thanks to Esther at the concierge desk for not only helping us with our airport transfer, but helping to secure my glasses that were accidentally left in the back of a tour van. Esther and the other women at the concierge desk were first rate! Kudos also on a beautiful, well maintained hotel with great amenities. Situated... More

Full of olde world English colonial charm, this gorgeous hotel is as much of a destination as just a place to stay. A lovely stroll to the falls, and best of all your entry fee is waived when you stay here! The sun deck gets packed every afternoon with a stunning sunset in front, and the mist from the falls... Check-in was speedy and efficient. We had booked 2 rooms. Our teenager's room was changed twice - once because the guests in the room they were to have decided to extend their stay, then again when the room they were allocated was a double (19 year old son and 17 year old daughter) rather than a twin. We were in... More

The Royal Livingstone is amazing. It's set in a beautiful area of Zambia near the mighty Zambezi River and the border with Zimbabwe. The hotel is located in the middle of a national park, so there are Monkeys, Zebras, and even Giraffes roaming the premises. I'll never forget the time Zebras came near my dinner table while I was eating!... More

Lovely hotel, nice rooms, lovely feel, the zebras and monkeys were a great addition. Their pool and sun deck were lovely. This hotel managed to feel timeless and quaint even though it was a big hotel. The tour to Livingston island was fabulous and would absolutely recommend it to everyone that goes there. It was what made us feel that... More

I did not stay at the hotel, but went there for their afternoon tea, which while a bit pricey, was worth every penny. The amount of food available was wide ranging, and in good quantity. Everything but the bourbon and vanilla tea (ugh!) was lovely, and they quickly got me another pot of tea when asked. There must have been... More

The Royal Livingstone was a beautiful experience. The ambience, staff, food and rooms were a real pleasure. The best part was that the Victoria falls were very close and we get to see the mist of the falls. The sun deck where we had are drinks and to see the sunset was sublime. The zebras and giraffe were an added... More

This was one of the best hotels we've stayed in for location, service and 'in-your-face' views! Restaurant was of exceptional standard, with plenty of outdoor seating looking out across the Zambezi. The team were incredibly helpful without being intrusive. Added bonuses were the Zebra, Impala and very playful monkeys that contentedly wandered past our room. Also, the easy walk from... More

This is one of the best hotels I have every stayed in and I've travelled the world! The staff, accommodation, facilities and food are all excellent. Its location, right next to the Victoria Falls is stunning and the sunsets are just wonderful. The style of the hotel is colonial and wild life wander around the grounds!
