Although there were just the 2 of us in our 'group' we were treated 'royally'! Quite the exotic spot. You can walk to Victoria Falls and there are monkeys, zebras and impalas on the property when we were there. Beautiful setting, staff and ambiance. more

My wife and I spent one night at the royal livingstone in the beginning of October. Fantastic location, excellent accommodation and the food was very good as well. This is a flavour of typical colonial Africa. The Royal Livinsgone, which is situated on the edge of the Zambezi River overlooking the mighty Victoria Falls, has to be one of the best hotel sites in the world. Totally relaxing, excellent service and genuine friendly people. more

Although we didn't actually stay at the hotel, we enjoyed High Tea and sunsets from the deck overlooking the river.
