Me and my friends had a great time at this place. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Their facilities are kept clean and includes self catering kitchen, BBQ area, bar and rock climbing wall. It's close to town and markets and a well known route for taxi drivers. The rooms do get hot in the evenings so make sure you... More

Everything about this place was awesome. The staff was very friendly, I felt so welcome. The location was great, close to a lot and very warm and comfortable within the hostel. Friday nights are fun and they do a very good job of shutting things down at 10 for those who want to sleep. Most people move to the bar... More

What a great way to stay cheap! Stephen and the rest of the staff really go out of their way to make you feel at home. Being from the states I had never stayed at a hostel before but quickly felt I'd made the right decision. For a single room with private shower/toilet I spent 1/3 of the chain hotel... More

This was incredible, the staff sorted me out for every thing I could imagine, they had a solution for every bump in the road. And they were incredibly accommodating and welcoming. The facilities are great, the pool and bar is just a hidden oasis, and a home away from home. Where everyone is friendly! The rooms are so relaxing and... More

Livingstone backpackers looks really cosy and the atmosphere is good! There are a couple of nice places, including a small library, to chill and read a book or chat with other travelers. Kind staff and a nice and clean swimming pool. The rooms, bathrooms and showers are clean as well. The only disappointing thing was the uncomfortable bed we got.

A very well-maintained and clean place. Camping on the grass is always delightful. The bar could be better, but across the street there's a local bar which is much more fun (and cheaper). The kitchen is very complete. Supermarket within walking distance. The pool is nice and there are cool places to sit and drink at night. Camping quite expensive... More
