Agree with all comments and reviews, great value for money, lovely staff and very helpful owners. My husband read that Lourent was connected to a kindergarten for disadvantaged children so we took a pile of pencils, clothes, etc and asked Lourent to give to the kindergarten. Instead he asked us to go along with him and visit so we did.... More

The Tabonina Guesthouse is the place I have experienced in Livingstone so far (where I have been several times). Nice plot (not totally central, but not too far to walk to the main road and shops), great friendly and helpful staff (you can book plenty of activities, transfers are organized and they also help when something else is needed). The... More

We stayed for 3 nights at the tabonina and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lourent, the owner, collected us from the airport (we were over an hour late but he still waited) and is a very nice host. The rooms are clean and a good base from which to explore livingstone. The pool area has sun all day and the breakfast... More

Last month I stayed for three nights in one of the big family rooms with three other ladies. We had a very pleasant time. Good beds, nice service and personnel, and very reasonably priced. There is a nice bar with cold beers and a pool table and a swimming pool (which was a bit cold but good to cool down... More

Went with previous reviews and they were right. Nice place to stay at with wonderful owners and staff. Arrived on Saturday afternoon and Laurent picked us up from the airport. Nice quiet location not too far from town (about a 25 minute walk). He made arrangements for a river cruise that night and also a visit to Chobe National park... More

This guesthouse is a great value stay and is owned and operated by a very nice couple. The room is simple but very comfortable, with an en-suite bathroom. Wifi is free and can be accessed near the main building. The filter coffee is a must! Breakfast is continental style and is made available at whatever time you request. There is... More

We loved our stay at Tabonina Guesthouse. Everyone was so friendly and always looking for ways to be helpful - including Laurent who picked us up at the airport. The location allowed us to walk in and out of town and it was nice to be in a neighborhood and not locked behind gates at a resort. The family room... More

Room with private bathroom, wifi, net, cupboard, kettle, free tea/coffee. Room and toilet were spacious and clean and facilities were perfect. There is a common area with tv, kitchen, outside swimming pool and another outside common area for leisure. Breakfast included every morning was nice. Location is perfect, very easy to find and just a 10 minute walk from the town... More

We stayed at Tabonina for three nights in July 2014 and were very happy with our choice. Laurent is a fantastic host - informative, friendly, and concerned about his guests' comfort. We had a small room in the back, but it was fine as we were rarely there. Laurent helped us arranged many tours and gave excellent advice about taxis,... More

We stayed here in March and have only just found the time to write a review but Tabonina and Victoria falls has been on our minds constantly. Laurent goes out of his way to look after all his guests in every way and still keep the costs down. We stayed in room 1 which is clean and spacious and looks... More
