Take the time and spend 2-3 nights at this magnificent lodge. Situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, nature abounds. Great activities await you. The staff offers a subtle and always on point way of making you feel at home. Private villas afford the level of privacy you want while gazing at the southern sky and beauty of the... More

After two amazing Safari's in South Africa and Zimbabwe we flew to Victoria Falls (Zambia Side) for the last stop on our amazing trip.We were met at the Airport and driven (it's over an hour) to Royal Chundu, an idyllic spot on the Zambezi River. The 25 minutes on the dirt road with nothing to see is challenging but you... More

They certainly do have a great location on the river, the rooms are absolutely amazing, the food is fantastic and the staff all very professional and helpful!! Loved the place...... More

The hotel is absolutely stunning with amazing views of the Zambezi. The staff are exceptionally attentive and go out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms over the water edge are beautifully furnished, with lovely full views of the river, perfect for lounging on the private deck with a cup of tea and a book. There... More

We hoped for a holiday which provided adventure and relaxation; the Royal Chundu more than fulfilled this. We stayed for eight nights, four in the River Lodge and four on the Island Lodge and for the whole time, the management's consideration for our comfort, appetite and well being cascaded down through all the staff to make it a most memorable... A truly amazing group of people who made our stay at Royal Chundu extra special. The permanent smiles and happiness are a reflection of the whole experience. The food, and in particular the incorporation of the local flavours, is simply out of this world! The setting is beautiful and is brilliantly captured in the Island lodge suites which are true... we just arrived from our trip. The island suites are very what you would imagine luxury at its best could be. The food was very good. But the best thing the hotel has is the service and staff. They are always looking to help you and exceed any expectations you have. The manager, Age talked with my wife and then... More

We give Royal Chundu five stars! Aggi greeted us like family when we first checked in. And during the boat ride on the mighty Zambezi from the River Lodge to the Island Lodge, they detoured for us to have our first look at an elephant in the wild! The first morning we were awakened by a gong announcing that our... More
