We bumped into a friend in the street who directed us to this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. It was $12 a night for a twin room with a private bathroom and balcony. The room was clean and has towels and toiletries. All of this a luxury for us backpackers. There was even a swimming pool another luxury for us.... more

We arrived at this place courtesy of the terrible An Phu bus service. Thankfully the hotel was better than their bus service, though don't interpret that as a recommendation. The room was ok, in fact ok is probably the best word on balance to sum up this place. On the plus side, there is a decent sized pool and the... more

As a veteran of the "American War" travelling by myself, I found the An Phu Hotel in Hoi An to be delightful. The staff was especially helpful, cheerful, and friendly. It was a modest walk into the shopping district. Hoi An is a charming little city with some excellent bargains and plenty of restaurants. Be sure to take the one... more

We stayed at the An Phu for 3 nights in March 2009; we ended up there as there did not seem to be any rooms available in any of our other choices; after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor we were dreading our stay but ended up being very pleasantly surprised. Our 33 U$ room was very nice & quiet, a... more

If service matters to you, give this one a miss. We checked into the An Phu Hotel after it was recommended at our last hotel in Hue. Not knowing our way around we were attracted to the promise of a bus stop pick up. When the bus arrived, we waited for 20 minutes during which time we were harangued by... more

The hotel is okay. However it is a little bit outside the center. The hotel premisses are giving rather the impression of a military caserne than a beach hotel. The service is rather poor. We wanted to order a taxi to the other side of the village. They told us it was impossible (which we later discovered as untrue). Furthermore... more

I asked my staff about your reservation for a hotel in Danang and pay for the phone call. My staff said that, If Guest reserve room via our services they never get the phone fee because our commission contains in the service. But you asked and reserved by yourself you had to pay the phone fee only. Thank you for...

We were unable to stay in the accommodation we had booked because of flooding in Hoi An at the time, so late at night we were directed to the An Phu by a backpack couple we met at the airport. Initially the front desk staff were keen to show interest and explain what they had to offer. It was definitely... more

This hotel is fine, at the really quiet end of Hoi An Old Town. We booked through our Hanoi hotel and paid over the odds at $40 US for a balcony room. The balcony was basically a ledge with a pot plant on it overlooking someone's laundry business so don't be sucked in by the promise of a better room.... more
