Quaint, traditional old world, old Vietnam style hotel in good location but lacking attention to detail. Swimming pool not in pristine condition as it should be and guest could congregate around pool smoking or not smoking, not a very big area, especially if you are a non smoker. The word aver ah would pretty much sum up this hotel. We... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel looks really nice, with a swimming pool. Breakfast is included, but very Western. They will bake your egg the way you like it. Hotel was 25 dollar for a night. Rooms were spacious. We had room 219 with a small balcony. They cleaned the room every day. Staff seems bit uninterested. They lost... More

We booked a simple room, but got upgraded because they had no availability. After some discussions they also agreed no to move us after the first night. No welcome smiles, kindness is probably not included in the price. This is a strange hotel, it could probably be better with a strong and good manager, they seems to be a bit... More

I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed my stay. It is very good value for money, the rooms are quiet and big, the bathroom is a bit outdated but hey it is clean and fine. The breakfast was the best I had during my stay with a very wide selection of fresh food. There is a pool which is appreciated since... More

I instructed the travel agency to book me a 3/4 star hotel in Hoi An, with the minimum requirements of WiFi, air conditioning and room phone. When I arrived, I was given a room with no Wifi, no phone and air conditioning unit barely working. I requested another room and they moved me to the first floor 'garden view' room... More

At the end of the day, Thanh Binh III is an excellent price for what you get. it is hard to fault the hotel give the price you pay. However, given what you can get in the rest of Vietnam (not just Hoi An) it doesn't compare. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although a bit date. We did have... More

I spent one night here and had a good experience. The property is somewhat dated but it's reasonably clean and attractive. The room was a bit larger than average and the bed and linens/pillows were softer and more comfortable than the typical Asian bed. The bathroom was dated with older fixtures. The AC was more than adequate to take care... More

Stayed here for four nights and enjoyed it. The breakfast was good, room was great, good size, a/c, clean, serviced daily. The pool was excellent. Location was good, close to everything. Taxi to the beach was $4 ( Cue Dai) Great beach. We enjoyed our time at Hoi An. The staff were excellent. When i left my phone in a... More

Nice big room with great balcony view and quiet street. Has a/c (too small for room), colour tv, bar fridge and complimentary tea/coffee/water. No jug to heat water though, but no bother as short walk to a myriad of shops and town center with draught beer at 5000 dong per "handle" at trip nguyen in hai ba trung street. Noted... More

Dunno whats with the bad rap, maybe some people expect too much...the flash resorts are in Da Nang for you lot. Huge rooms (and bed!!!), friendly staff, cool colonial feel with all the dark wood. The breakfasts on a par with all the other main hotels, and there are a couple of good local cafes just across the road. Close... More
