This is defenitely the worst hotel we've ever had. At arrival wrong rooms. no balcony, no view. It was our problem, the salesdepartment was blamed. We had to get really pissed of before someone reacted. Staff blamed, sales and the manager. Everything the manager was doing went wrong, he wasn't interested and at the end he put the money we... Broken toilet, LOUD aircon ( both were attended to promptly even though aircon continued to sound like a tractor), swimming pool too hot to swim in, broken deckchairs, had to ask for the welcome basket of fruit which was advertised (6 bananas), one computer worked but slow connection. Lovely cleaning staff.

We stayed two nights at the Pho Hoi riverside resort. We had a very mixed stay and if you can tolerate moody staff, then it's a pretty cheap option on the more peaceful side of Hoi An - just make sure you get a room away from the road because it can be very noisy in the morning! We were... More

My mum and I (26yo) stayed 4 nights at Pho Hoi in June 2010. We booked just the night before on the internet ($35USp/n). We initially booked only one night and we didn't realise until we got there that it was over on the island. I don't think we would have booked there if we knew that, as it looked... More

First we got a room which smells to sewerage and without windows to outside. Housekeeping put a piece of paper on the pit against the smell. We didn't accept it and wanted another room. Then we got a room above the reception (noisy!!), wires all loose, dirty toilet etc. Pictures will be placed later. This was really the most awfull... More

We booked into this hotel via a travel agent in Ho Chi Minh. We wanted a pool and a location close the the old town. Photos on the website looked great. When we arrived staff tried to put us in a room in the hotel section, even though we booked for the resort. We ended up having to pay an... More

We have stayed at this hotel for the last three years and itt has steadily gotten worse. Although we love the rustic rooms with the doors scraping on the floor amd the uneven pool, table, The staff are wonderful, however when theswimming pool is green in colour I had to pull the plug and leave as I had serious Health... We stayed at the Pho Hoi last year and loved the riverside location, the close proximity to the old town and the pool. Because of that, we decided to stay for five nights in the executive villas again this year. We arrived there late in the afternoon, the hotel seemed to be a little quiet but the staff were pleasant... More

We were first time vistors to Hoi An and were sure about this location beforehand. The location was good because we had an easy walk back to the city centre and a quick motorbike ride or taxi to the beach for about 20000 dong. We are not too sure about the title of "resort" as it was really only a... More

The hotel is set in a beautiful location with lovely views. But the well-appointed rooms are very tired and not particularly clean. Our shower curtain looked like it had never been washed and the bedding was musty - I didn't even want to tread on the carpet. Our worst impression was upon checkin late at night (which we had arranged)... More
