We stayed for 3 nights in a Japanese room with our 2 children. Our room faced the river and overlooked the swimming pool. The room was spacious and very clean with good amenities. Cleaned everyday by very friendly housekeeping staff who were only too happy to have a chat. Like the other reviews states there are 2 sections to this... More

Hoian. What a place. Vietnam at its best. I could live there for months for sure. We chose Pho Hoi Riverside Resort because of its location, overlooking the river. I believe it was a very wise decision, and I do recommend travelers to follow us. We stayed in a nice Japanese room style in the new section, over looking the... More

As previously mentioned there are two sections to this hotel. We stayed in the older section and the rooms were really poor. The bath was terribly stained, as was the curtain and the bathroom continually stank. I also didn't really appreciate the cockerall in the grounds which woke us up from around 5am. However, the newer section of the hotel... More

Just to let people know, wehen travelling in vietnam and booking accommodation based on the facilities they offer on their website- BEWARE! Pho Hoi Riverside resort was in a great location and the pool was just what we needed however their website claimed it had a childrens's playground and babbysitting available. When we got there they had no idea about... More

This hotel is a real mixture of old and new. We were assigned a room in the old section next to the noisy road and bridge. The room was old fashioned, but reasonably comfortable - all the fittings seemed tired but clean. The bathroom was small and dim but all the necessities were there. The noisy road traffic was very entertaining... More

Horrible service, pushy staff and poor overpriced food really spoil this beautiful location. This is a lovely resort but i found the staff here became very rude and obstructive once we decided not to use the 'managers sister' to have my clothing made! This only became worse when we used an alternative place to rent our motorbikes from!! Between the... More

this hotel is in a great location just over the river from the mail part of Hoi An. The twice daily walk over the bridge was a highlight of the time in Hoi An. The rooms were a good size and well furnished. The shower curtain had seen better days but this was recitified quickly. The staff were great with... More

We had three nights at the Pho Hoi, impresive location, friendly staff what spoilt it a little for us was the noise from the sheet metal workshop and the constant roar and tooting of the motorbikes in the rear lane way. Our balcony table and chair was broken and there is no privacy between balconies

Good location just across bridge from main town. Breakfast good but meals in the evening are terrible, so dissapointed because they offer cookery courses and have a whole garden filled with produce, staff not interested when you complain.

We were there at the same time David from NY was met him there, nice bloke. This place is in a great location to the main part of town, cheap motor bike hire-very friendly, value for money rooms, only complaint was the beds were to hard, but that is the norm over there. Cheap drinks at bar, friendly staff. Great... More
