The service was awful, there wasn't anybody in the counter all day! The room was not clean and the breakfast was poor and not tasty. The only good things is that place is the swimming pool with the river view and the location. I don't recommend this hotel!!

Not up to standard!! Didn't read the previous reviews good enough, everything which was said before were right. There are two separate sides, the hotel side is moldy and old. Bathroom is yellow and dirty. All the photos they have online is of the resort side which is deceiving when they put you in a different type of room. Obviously... More

Location & breakfast are the only things going for this place. We stayed here 10 nights only to join friends who were on an extended stay. Had it not been for them we would have only stayed a night. Facilities are dilapidated. Staff were the most unhelpful we have encountered over our 6 months travels. Cleaners left our balcony door... More

By far the worst hotel we stayed in in our whole trip in Vietnam. Breakfast started with flies around the open fruit, a big fly in the milk and no bread at 8.30. When I asked for bread they said a definite " No". The room was dirty. There was a bath but I would not risk getting into it.... More

Stayed here 2 weeks ago. Overall, a good choice. Nice walk over the bridge to old town.Breakfast very good as western available with choice individually cooked to order , Breakfast room outdoors with lovely outlook. Also found the hotel tours very reasonably priced. As several others have noted ,go opposite to the corner shop. The lovely lady there will get you... More

Great location but old facilities. A bit expensive ($30/night) but room is not good enough. Old bed sheets, blankets are provided instead of quilt as other 3-star hotels. Only one small bedside table is available, not enough for two people. The room only has a CRT TV instead of a flat panel. Old bath room and is not very clean.... More

We stayed at the pho hoi for 9 nights, and although the location was very good, the hotel seems to be trying to squeeze more money out of you at every turn. Our hotel before hoi an made a mistake buying our sleeping bus tickets, and so we ended up arriving the morning after our supposed check-in time. The manager... More

The Pho Hoi Riverside was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided us with local information and had secure parking for our motorbike. The hotel is located just across the river and is set in a peaceful environment. Pho Hoi is close enough to the city center but far enough to enjoy some peace and... More

Got 2 rooms right beside each other: big, Nice tv, good a/c, outdated bathroom (please update it to a higher and cleaner quality. Location is perfect! Poor breakfast: little to choose from. They don't know how to bake a real pizza (please don't put them on the menu ever: not fresh, very small, not the ingredients we ordered and so... More

We enjoyed our 5 nights at Pho Hoi - it was nice to have a pool (even if it was a little warm, the kids still appreciated it). It was just a short stroll over the bridge to the old quarter, and everything was convenient. We had dinner here the first night and it was delicious. The breakfast wasn't as... More
