The property is beautiful and convenient to the market, however is in need of TLC. The beds are hard with only one pillow. Couldn't close the bathroom, armoire or the fridge cupboard doors. Cleaning was sporatic, some times towels and other times not. A faulty kettle to make tea for two but only one mug provided. Breakfast was exactly the... More

Breakfast is a very good buffet with stunning river views. The pool is also right on the river. It's a 2 minute stroll to the old town and central market. Phoi Hoi gets bad reviews because it is in need of updates (they were doing some when we left). It is a budget holiday dream or a nightmare for those... More

Just half a kilometre from the bus station. Beds were comfortable and had a small balcony with river view. There was a loud party going on from 7.30 - 9.30pm which could be heard easily in the budget hotel section. The shower had hardly any pressure and you had to crouch down low in the bath tub which could be... More

The Location is great, just a quick walk to the markets, however, the beds where rock hard and the pillows the same. the showers are so low /the hot water takes forever. The hotel is a little old. If you don't mind the above, the price was great. Cheap drinks at the bar and it was nice to sit by... More

I think everyone is bring very harsh . We've biked along the coast staying different places each night over the last week. We've found this hotel great. Our rooms are directly across from the pool with an interconnecting door to our teenager's next door. There are family rooms which have 2 rooms seperated by a curtain so suitable for younger... More

My Mrs booked this place. While in transit I had a look at theses reviews and thought what has she done ! However.......this joint is ok, remembering you get what you pay for. On checking in mid morning the blokes on reception spoke great English, we're very helpful and pointed us in the right direction, which we need as we... More

The service was awful, there wasn't anybody in the counter all day! The room was not clean and the breakfast was poor and not tasty. The only good things is that place is the swimming pool with the river view and the location. I don't recommend this hotel!!

Not up to standard!! Didn't read the previous reviews good enough, everything which was said before were right. There are two separate sides, the hotel side is moldy and old. Bathroom is yellow and dirty. All the photos they have online is of the resort side which is deceiving when they put you in a different type of room. Obviously... More

Location & breakfast are the only things going for this place. We stayed here 10 nights only to join friends who were on an extended stay. Had it not been for them we would have only stayed a night. Facilities are dilapidated. Staff were the most unhelpful we have encountered over our 6 months travels. Cleaners left our balcony door... More
