The hotel is at a good location, we had a great view from our balcony. Rooms are goodsized, beds are great. Free fruit everyday, nice touch. The swimming pool is good, but the water is a bit warm and both of us had a little stomach problem after swimming, so maybe the two are connected. Breakfast is nice, staff in... more

Very friendly and admirable service. At reception very good english language. Rooms absolutely clean - every day. Nice welcome gift - bananas and coffee every day in the room. View to garden and the river - calm and romantic. more

We spent a few nights in Hoi An and decided to look in the Lonely Planet Vietnam guide for a nice hotel in the city. We decided on the Pho Hoi Riverside Resort because it was recommended in the book - a normally very reliable book, but this edition was terrible for hotel and restaurants. Based on the site and... more

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and were pleased with both location and services, as well as the actual accomodation. We stayed in a villa room : these are rather large rooms, albeit a little dark, but that's really not an issue considering you spent most time in it when it's actually dark outside. Our room was tidy and... more

I booked this place while en route and without internet access so I didn't consult Trip Advisor. Most reviews are negative and I agree this place needs to improve. I moved out after 2 nights. It wasn't all bad - the location is great and the setting of the hotel is also very nice. I had a very large beautiful... more

I don't think this is a good choice as first when we book the hotel. Because the price is quite cheap. But my client want to stay close to the town so that they won't spend to much time on moving around. However when we had spent 2 nights here, I think it a very good place to stay. What... more

I agree with the reviews that this hotel is very ordinary. The rooms are dark and quite grotty with balcony furniture made of cement to look like trees!! The in room safe can be picked up and removed as it's not attached to anything...not exactly safe...The place is extremely noisy as a lane way is directly behind the hotel and... more

I spent 4 days at the Pho Hoi Riverside Resort. Never again. We had a Japanese Riverside Bungalow - which sounded great. Unfortunately the lighting was dreadful and the bathroom was really dirty. Each morning the staff would drag carts down past our bungalow at around 5.30am - making such a racket - didn't matter that people were trying to... more

Was very disappointed with this hotel. It is in a good location but was very noisy. Behind the block were locals homes and there was lots of noise with dogs barking, cockerills crowing all night and peoiple doing all sorts of building work early in the morning. The rooms were not very clean and the faiciltes were very outdated. It... more

While I booked rooms at this hotel, I was made to pay an additional $20 as 'local dinner' and $20 as pickup charges from the airport. The pickup minibus arrived but was stuffed half full with cardboard boxes. Then the driver went into discussions with some locals and then got them into the bus telling me that that was his... more
