Quite dated, dark and musty. The shower was on the side of a bathtub aimed at the bathroom floor, so a shower curtain was essential, as the floor was very slippery when wet. I would not recommend the Van Loi to anyone visiting Hoi An, as there are many more options in Hoi An, both more budget-friendly and/or charming.
